I got home from a business trip yesterday to find my Sixshot from BBTS waiting for me. Unfortunately I had to wake up at 5:00 am this morning and drive my oldest to a state chess tournament, so I did not get a chance to open him yet. Can't want to get home tomorrow and check him out.

Got a great deal off Mandarake. Snagged it not long after it went up.

Only 3000 JPY

That's the original, not the 2006 redeco. It was listed as opened, but it looks like the tape was just cut because all the twist ties are intact. Still cost me 5200 JPY to ship it, but that only comes to US$75 so I can't complain too much, not when the redeco goes for US$85+ on eBay.

No, i sent them an e-mail with pictures of the guns and proof of purchase. They told me to keep it and that they would send me a new one.

Awesome! Now that you can properly enjoy him, do you find he lives up to the hype? I kinda want one as he looks like a good, proper Decepticon grunt, and his transformation looks fun too.

There are few deco differences between the original release and the '06 re-release, right?
Mostly the stickers I think?

Yeah, i was quite happy. And it means i can now donate the other. Paying it forward to another collector.

And the 06 reissue i know of has chrome and his chest stickers show the matrix.

Giving it to a friend who cant afford TFs at the moment. I am sure he wont mind having the same gun twice. If I got this for free I wouldnt mind either. But when you are paying 20$ to make sure I dont miss out on him (I have yet to see him again) you expect to have all the parts it should have.

Anyways, I have some stuff for a post. I went to a local toyfair today and picked up G1 Jetfire for $23 USD (it sounds less cool when it's in canaian dolalrs). Not the greastest price anyone ever got for him but better than anything I could have hoped for. He has 0 yellowing and all the springs work ;)^

I also got 3 gobots and G1 Groove for $11.50 all together. Cykill and Groove are in particularly good condition. That chrome is looking so shiny!

That's a relatively reasonable price for a naked but perfect condition G1 Jetfire.
But I've yet to see someone beat the price of my own.
And it was that price because the seller screwed me over with 20$US more in shipping fees that it actually costed him to ship. :shock:

Also, nice find on that Cykill. To find one this pristine with BOTH wheels intact in the wild is a feat in itself.

Awesome haul Will! I'd love to own one of those old Macross Valkyries one day, be it Jetfire or an actual Valkyrie figure. For toys so old they sure do look neat. I spy a Pathfinder there too!

Nice Will! Glad you finally got your hands on a Jetfire, and in the end, cheaper than if our trade had worked out. Right? The rest of that haul is sweet too.

Found this guy at Target. Looks like the post holiday drought is finally getting washed away.

Best part? when I got to the check out, I found a gift card in my wallet with $25 left on it from Xmas that I had forgotten I had.
So if you get Six shot for half off, does that make him Three Shot? :-P

Very luck indeed! Someone will be very jealous of that Pathfinder. And I'm spying Pincher (not the Pretender Autobot crab), aka Machine Robo Falgos. Love the Monster Gobots/Machine Robo Devil Invaders, they look so... alien.

Yeah, I think they were trying to bring him in line a bit with Car Robots/RID Scourge in '06 by removing the Optimus Prime stickers and adding more chrome. Pretty sure he came with a sticker sheet for the missing stickers, though.

Will, did Cy-Kill come with his engine, I don't see it?
