A 90% sealed Squaktalk/Beastbox, 4th and last TFTM OST Vinyl, PE PMOP Upgrades, and what I'd call an MP G1 Jetfire 8-)

All versions (I'm aware of) TFTM OST Vinyl. Original, Clear Blue Reissue, Clear Red/Purple Record Store Day Exclusive, and I'm hazy on the last. It first surfaced at the last Botcon, and is typically only found in the UK :-?

Surprise haul! Giga from Kijiji and Primus off eBay.

I got Giga off Kijiji. Guy was asking 10 bucks.... I'm honestly not blowing smoke up my own ass, but I gave him 60 cause that was ridiculous. Box is rough, incomplete, and horn is bent, but the figure itself is perfect.

Primus is sealed... and happily cost less than retail! Straight retail (converted) is about 220, and I got him 170 shipped. Only thing is the moron literally wrapped it in paper and put a stamp on it. Luckily I'm only a diva about boxes with my MP's lol. And my gawd I love this figure

Yeah. I just couldn't. He had it listed as pending for 10 bucks, and I told him right off the bat that it was worth more than that. And honestly, its still worth more than I paid. But hey, he did better with me than he would have on his own :lol:

My TLK Hot Rods arrived. It's a good thing I ordered 2. The first one had a qc issue. Funny thing was when I opened it, I thought the quality was great. Everything felt so tight. But I was having a hard time getting the hood straight during transformation. I realized that one of the pins where the hood hinges was not in the plastic hole so it was crooked. There was no way for me to force it in without breaking something. The second one also felt tight in bot mode. Car looks so good but I'm having a hard time getting the 2 rear pieces tabbed in securely.

Picked up Six Shot at Walmart. Been seeing him quite a bit lately actually. I bought this one at one Walmart packed with Sky Shadow. I'd seen the two a few weeks ago at this same store, but wasn't able to buy Six Shot right away (I already have Sky Shadow from Amazon) and they were gone after a couple days. I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to see him again since Leaders are already hard to find in my area (had to get three online and still don't own a PM OP) so I was happy to find one Friday. Stopping at the Walmart near work I found two more Six Shots on the shelves there so he certainly seems to be seeing wider release, both in his own cases and with Sky Shadow.

It's been so dry on the Transformers front around here. It's been so long since I got anything new. I do have some stuff coming in the mail from Japan, though.

Got TR Cosmos which normally would be overpriced like crazy for being £12.99 and not coming with his buddy he had when this mold was previously used. But the price on the peg said £7.99 and though it ran through the til at £12.99 and though it turned out the label turned out to say 'Transformers 5 Legion' the checkout lady let me have it for £7.99 saying it was their error.

Is decent toy. Not my usual thing but original G1 toy Cosmos was one my very first three TFs.
Also found a remote control car in Oxfam for £1.99 that looks rather like a certain Decepticon cop car so I grabbed that too.

He was sent to the wrong house, so i picked it up on my way to work. And funny enough, Hot Rod became the first Transformer to spend a day at work with me! Went with me on every delivery (in his box mind you).

And he's a pretty great figure. Nothing special, but I'm willing to say the best of the 4 figures with this skeleton. The alt mode is liquid sex baby, it is the best alt mode I've seen in a while, much better than any TR thing and most other movie alt modes. Robot mode is alright, but he needs a slightly bigger head and a time gun.

What's this mean? The skeleton? I know he is a heavy retool of Lockdown but what else?

And yeah that alt-mode impressed my Lambo fan friend who loves models of any Lamborghini and loves Hot Rod's here and is ordering him to go on his precious Lambo shelf. Funnily enough it was G1 Sideswipe that started that collection.

DotM Roadbuster first used this transformation scheme/skeleton. It was then used for Transformers: The Ride Evac, and still is used by him (I got him in January when I went (!!!) ), then AOE Lockdown and finally Hot Rod.

And that's awesome! His alt mode is truly where this figure wins

Heh, I hadn't even noticed the Roadbuster similarity. I never seen Evac before but looking at his pic on TFwiki that does look like a very neat figure with a distinct vehicle mode.

And yeah I love the car mode of Hot Rod. I do like his robot mode too but wish it was a bit more accurate. Weird thing is I'm not really a car fan at all but I prefer TFs that have realistic car modes over those that don't. And I'm really impressed with Cogman's lovely car mode especially in that it's a two seater Titan Master vehicle.

Since I don't believe it will ever show up in stores (at least in my area) I bought TLK Hot Rod on site to store. Not bad, but not as great as I hoped. This character was defiantly mishandled by this movie, and this toy could have and should have been much better.

Thanks to some rainchecks and Will's great help, I managed to score myself a TLK Nitro and a MPM-4 Optimus Prime! And for the Optimus, I could add a 10% additional discount thanks to the new TrU Club! A MPM-4 at 107.58$CAN (85.61$US) is very, VERY welcome. Especially when MPM-4 is not available at TrU.ca and only TWO were on the store shelf.
