[Chibi Starscream]

A few days ago I picked my first new TF in a while. I got the POtP Voyager Starscream! Starscream in my favorite character as some of you know and I didn't have any actual figure of him, so even though I don't much care for his looks in this version I still bought it. However, the torso mode imo looks GREAT so I can't wait to get some more pieces so I can have limbs for him. Rn he's hanging out in hisjet mode. The jet mode was also extremely easy to do. I didn't need instructions at all. Lmao.

Many months ago, I preordered it from HLJ. Total: 22350JPY shipped, or roughly 258$CAN. It's a lot of money, buy WAY better than the 375$CAN plus taxes it go locally. Fingers crossed for no custom fees.

Just finished off the deluxes and voyagers for PotP wave 1, just in time for wave 2 to come crashing in. So Sl(u/a)g and Grimlock have been being messed with. I actually enjoy Slag a lot, Grimlocks combined mode and robot mode are alright, but alt-mode is even worse than pictures gave it credit.

Not a toy haul but a TF haul none the less. I got original art from my very favourite issue of Transformers comics, RID 22: Soundwaves

Its the epic fight between Soundwave and Shockwave. Plus I also scored a cover to Optimus Prime #2.

Went TF hunting while on a business trip, and looks like I've officially started wave 2. As a bonus, I can add Louisiana as yet another state that I've bought TF's for the collection. I think I'm up to 9 states within the US, Canada and Malaysia internationally.

I opend the box, just to make sure both his heels were there, as my first Rodimus Prime was missing one. He is all complete, but I'll have to wait until I get home tomorrow to take him out of the packaging and enjoy all his corrupted glory.

Question: is Rodimus Unicronus supposed to be just a straight cash-grab repaint, or will he be in the IDW Unicron story? I also picked up PotP Rodimus Unicronus, but for some reason I'm regretting it now.

My haul today is a post office slip saying that my package is waiting for me... With a 41$CAN custom fees bill.

Sigh....

I think I know what it is. I'm bummed out by the custom fees but I'm kinda exited for tomorrow after work.

Now to make me forget the custom fees:

So far it's Moonracer, Novastar and Jazz. Jazz may look like the odd one out, but he was featured on the art for the Combined form, plus it appears on the side of Jazz's packaging.

Hahahahahahaha! That’s hilarious. I just looked it up and can also confirm just Moonracer and Novastar. Jazz is having a night out with the ladies. I can imagine Jazz with a Scatman Cruthers voice at a Tupperware party.

Eeesh, I jumped on the Anime Export preorder, they are always the best place for Canada, if you have the money up front. He came out to $216.89 CAN shipped (for any yank reading this, that means only $172 USD, shipped and all). Thats over $100 less than local options.

Thats not how it works, this site is basically preorder only. They open up preorders at the best prices online, take all preorders and then close it 2-3 weeks later. So they only sell what has been ordered. It means they dont have much leftover, and since they get all the money for whats been ordered (since you pay up front), they are more efficient and have sufficient cashflows for their own orders and pass the savings onto you (hence the lowest price). Plus, they always help you out for customs.

This pays off big time with me saving $100 on this 1 mp alone. Its the only store I use now, I just make sure to order as soon as the preorder goes up.

Wave one just showed up and now wave two is out. The Walmart I got these from (they also had Rodimus Unicronus) only just got Legends wave one about a month ago, they didn't get the pre-Christmas display. Everything else from wave one hit my area about 3 weeks ago. Still haven't seen Prime Masters at Walmart at all, they don't even have space for them. I had better grab Dreadwind while I can since he isn't listed for a second run in future waves (and I sure hope they've learned their lesson from TR and won't do revision waves any more, but I'm sure they haven't).

Oh, and like some others have said, wave two isn't in Walmart computers yet.

Anime Export is awesome. I've used them a few times. Also got Megs from them a while back. Paying up front kinda sux but you don't pay shipping until you're ready to ship. And they do POL.
