So what did you do to get them?

They had to do it manually. They couldn't be bothered to do a price check so they asked me if I could remember the price. I couldn't so I said $9.80-something, they went with $9.87, I don't think that's too far off, nobody is crying over a few cents. At least I didn't say under $5 like the other guy did.

It finally arrived. MEGATRON!

Image

Contrary to MP-11 Starscream, MP-36 Megatron FEEL and LOOK like a 300$CAN collectible. Master paint and diecast everywhere. Plus a ton of accessories and faces that have a soul. I loved Maketoy's Despotron very much, but next to the genuine MP-36, he look a bit awkward.

Image

I'm a bit too tired right now to find some guts to transform him however. For now, he look pretty bad-ass as it is. ;)^

Nice! He looks pretty damn good and accurate. The only thing I don't like is his crotch piece with all those seams on it, as well as the top of his chest. Too many seams. Otherwise, it's a beautiful figure. I wish there was a comic-accurate version, with a black (or dark gray, whatever) helmet.

Glad you like him Kan! I'm not going to replace my Despotron any time soon (I'm a sucker for those proportions and gorgeous silver paint) but MP-36 is still a nice looking figure. Well, from the front anyway.

As you saw above, I'm not replacing Despotron either. For me, he's like a very awesome fan-art that came to life. However, MP-36 is the original cartoon that jumped out of my old TV! :x

I opend the box, just to make sure both his heels were there, as my first Rodimus Prime was missing one. He is all complete, but I'll have to wait until I get home tomorrow to take him out of the packaging and enjoy all his corrupted glory.

Nice! With all the sightings so early, I should actually start looking for them. Oh this guy, I want him so badly...

Those are 2 I haven't found in stores anywhere. I'm about to go to eBay or Amazon for them.

I did just pick up a Unique Toys Soundmixer. He's in perfect scale with deluxe TR Percy and the TR and PotP legends class figures to complete my Cybertron Seven.

Micro haul today. FINALLY got PotP Jazz for my Jazz collection. He do feel a bit cheap, but there's enough paint and the transformation give a fresh take on the CW limb. He'll never combine though.

Mine is a leg for Galvatron. I think Jazz is one of the better figures in the line, he works well in 3 of the 4 modes. He makes a skinny arm.

Aw man, that stinks. If it makes you feel any better I have had my own share of experiences in regards to not finding that one sought after figure.

Picked up PotP Windcharger after Walmart stocked a second case of PotP Legends wave 2 and looking like they wouldn't be geting wave 1 again. He's a much better looking figure (especially the head) in hand than in pics. His bot mode is solid, his car mode is super solid, and the transformation process is pretty easy once you get the hang of popping the windshield in place. Haven't decided if I'm going to get Tailgate or not, I have his CW figure and not the CW Windcharger figure so I might keep them different this way.

Don't get me started with lack of PotP. It'll upset primalxconvoys delicacies.
It'd also be off-topic.

Still so little to be found in Australia about you Burn? Man, that is awful, how long in general till you see TFs pop up after the initial releases elsewhere?
Kranabat, I picked up that Windcharger too, mostly because I started collecting again with the combiner wars line. I don't have the previous figure to compare, but I think this is a wonderful representation of that character when I compare it to memories of the G1 toy I used to own.

A couple of eBay orders and a UniRoddy from Walmart. Energon Slugslinger has a kinda finicky robot mode but the transformation is cool and he looks alright, Armada Cheetor has a really cool look to him, TM2 Prowl is a pretty unique and fun figure, and Universe Frostbite... well, his beast mode is a steaming pile, but his robot mode has nice colors and he should look fine on my Unicron Trilogy/Predacons shelf. T-Wrecks is probably my favorite of the bunch though. I already liked the mold, but this deco works better than the original BW Megatron deco to me.

Got good prices on most of the eBay stuff; the average price I paid for the deluxes is $19.41 which is pretty okay for me. T-Wrecks was bit pricey, but he was worth it. I now have all the BM Dinobots except for Rapticon who is freaking super expensive and rare for some reason.

Got these two today at Walmart. They were difficult to get. I noticed them last night at Walmart and grabbed them right up. I went to self-checkout and they wouldn’t scan. An employee said I wasn’t able to purchase them, so she took them from me. I decided to return to Walmart this morning and Tailgate was on display. I went through a traditional checkout and he still wouldn’t scan. The cashier asked how much he was. I said “$9.86.” I was able to purchase him. Later on, I’m cleaning the litter box and the scoop breaks. I had to make another trip to Walmart. I grabbed the new poop scoop and decided to stop by at the Transformers section. Lo and behold, Battleslash was on the shelf. I went to a traditional checkout and the same thing happened all over again. I told the kid “$9.86” and he rang me up. So getting these two were a little bit of work. But it was also like Providence worked magic with the litter box.
