Cyberpath wrote:Omega's rocket-mode is generally formed from his lower arms. The new toy seems to have more parts between them. I wonder where they come from and if the arms can still attach to each other without them.
ZeroWolf wrote:@warpath from impactor, I can't see this as Robot scale is important, I see it more likely that the next line will either reintroduce the legends class or offer a set so the mini bots are still smaller than the rest.
frogbat wrote:Now my real question is Skorponok... Titan or Commander? On one hand I really like the towering titans and toy and American cartoon wise, Skorponok should be a titan. Though he was literally half Fortress Maximus' size as a toy. In the comics he was slightly larger than the others.. and would like them to have done a new FM and Skorponok at that scale because quite frankly the titan toys are a bit too unwieldy to be enjoyable as transforming toys. Trypticon was the most fun one of the 3 I own cos he was the most stable and solid, Metroplex and FM were very floppy.

Scorponok/Megazarak will be the last one, probably hitting on 2020 or early announcements later month, we got Trypticon, Omega Supreme, i doubt he'll be the last Titan to be made
For Commander class, i think Grandus. THE ABOSLOTE UNIT. he has too many modes.
Carnivius_Prime wrote:Is there a good G1 Scorponok at voyager size? Never liked the cartoon version but enjoyed the Marvel version where as you say he wasn't much bigger than most of the other leaders.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Wolfman Jake wrote:Let's take another look at SIEGE Jetfire with all of his gear on in robot mode.
It's a really fun idea Hasbro and Takara cooked up to make extra optional armor bits to kinda/sorta turn Sunbow "Skyfire" into G1 toy Jetfire in robot mode, but it really could have been executed a bit better. Simply playing around with the paint job on the chest piece could do a world of good, for instance. Jetfire could also use some bigger red pieces to bulk out the sides of his lower legs. A way to split the booster pack to have two skinnier nacelles sticking up on the back instead of one large red brick would be nice. Maybe it can do this? I know a lot of people are upset that the masked helmet doesn't include the black antennae. However, maybe it does! Take a look again at the black guns on the tips of the wings in the picture above. Then go back and look at the wings again in alt mode or "Skyfire" mode. They are removeable! I'm hoping you can just pop those small guns on to the sides of the masked helmet to complete his classic look. That still won't fix the fact that the visor is blue instead of red, though.
Just like with Shockwave, the main attraction is the base figure, and the additional accessories are just for fun. Also, to anyone worried about his size, this new Commander Class Jetfire is sure to be at least an inch and a half taller at the head that the Thrilling 30 Leader Class Jetfire mold. I did some measurements on my T30 Jetfire, and I think we're in for a real treat with scaling here. If SIEGE Leader Class figures are worth $50 USD, I definitely think Jetfire is a comparable value at $80 USD, based on apparent size (and anticipated mass).

SpikeyTigertron wrote:Also looks like Omega’s base mode might have more play features in it, that is initially apparent. I’d put money on his yellow shins opening.... and it looks like his crotch might open? Bonus points if the chest interior is Telatran One.
I also still feel like that tank might transform: it looks like it’s got an aweful lot of pins in it for “just plugging into his chest”.

But, man, those mirage and impactor figures do not look good at all![]()
Omega looks fine, properly beefy at the very least, I might get him if he goes on a steep sale around christmas, but I don't feel any need to get him![]()
So now that we have a baseline size and price, anyone have any guesses at whom else can fill out this new size class? Mine is Tidalwave

Okay they don't look THAT bad let's not over-react here. Mirage actually looks pretty good. Both modes look fairly clean (aside from whatever is going on under the spoiler in his vehicle mode). He looks better than his combiner wars and thrilling 30 version, at least to me.
I don't quite know how I feel about Impactor though. Like he could be good, but that CGI render is not selling me on the guy.
Seibertron wrote:These figures look amazing to me. I absolutely love Skyfire Jetfire. Omega Supreme's robot mode looks fantastic (though something is off about his face), and everything about the base mode looks great except it looks like it is missing 4 sets of track to make it more oval shaped like the G1 version instead of circle shaped.
Can't wait to see all of these in person. Extremely pleased with how Jetfire turned out, especially with how bummed I was about the Generations 2014 version and with the Classics 2006 version.
