Ever see a Monorail in motion? Even though it is a tank on a track, it is supposed to evoke the idea of a modern monorail, where the vehicle *surrounds* the track it's on, for lack of a better term. Since there will be no motorized parts to worry about though, I am curious to see what sort of wheels (or whatever moving mechanism) is underneath the tank to push him around the track.

It's *slightly* off, but not too bad.

They are are also probably counting Omega's height to the top of his track/wings. So he'll probably be more like this.

If I was just a little bit taller...

Still an absolute unit.

As scale is an important thing in this line what does Impactor being a (maybe pretty big) Deluxe class figure mean for SIEGE Springer? I mean I expect him to be a triple-changer and I think he's supposed to be as big if not even a tad bit shorter than Impactor in robot mode. So either we'll get a triple-changing Deluxe class Springer or they won't scale with each.
*I definittely exclude the possibility/option that Springer could be a non-triple-changer.

Nope, not alone. T30 will be Jetfire and Siege will be Skyfire.

I am not THAT familiar with the character(s) but isn't Skyfire just the Japanese or Decepticon name of Jetfire like Black Shadow is for Sky Shadow?

It's a fun history filled with intrigue, copyright violations, confusion with a completely different toyline & animated series, and a little company named Harmony Gold, like a little dog that's all bark and no bite trying to sue the pants off of Hasbro.

I might be alone on this but I think the new Commander class would be great for a new Thunderwing. Give him a Marvel g1 Voyager sized body but then give him a big weapons pack that turns him into his Stormbringer design.

Oh you're forgetting something though... They are going for G1 toon accuracy...Impactor was never in the G1 toon :P so they can have him scale as ever they want!

The leaks already said that springer was a voyager, and as he was a triple changer originally, he'll still be one now.

Wow, I still don't understand the hate on Impactor. What makes him look so "ugly" to everyone? I mean, the face is a little derpy, but that happens sometimes. The rest of him looks fine. He's not a repaint or retool of some other figure. He's got the right colors in the right places. He has his shoulder cannon and spear hand. What gives? I have a feeling that fans of Impactor have had way too high of expectations for this.

For me, the spartan style helmet makes a big difference. Like I wrote above, regardless if its not a retool it still doesnt look like the body I know him to have, like the images above.

Personally I was hoping for an IDW inspired figure, rather than a Marvel UK, plus the shoulder cannon looks a little too flat to me. Almost like it was in a presser before he managed to get it back

We are just used to an IDW Impactor and this one is way too rectangular, doesn't look mean enough, has too hollow legs, his helmet is not Spartan enough and his harpoon hand isn't well integrated.
They really should have left the effect parts peg off the harpoon.

My only real problem with impactor is the head. It's really not good. I might try and swap it with the tfss one if that's possible. I think the rest of him looks fine, the legs aren't a problem for me they're no different from hardhead or rook and both of those are good figures. I think people got quickly spoiled by the other figures of this line so it makes impactor appear worse than he is.

Omega Supreme looks great. Though the robot mode seems to be missing some base parts. More notably the Rocket has an entire middle section with red highlights that is nowhere to be seen in robot mode.

Skyfire is amazingly accurate to the G1 cartoon in Jet mode. I wonder if the fastpack / weapons pack does more in Jet mode, than just clip to the top.

No attachment to Impactor. However he looks o.k to. Legs are a bit hollow though.

Mirage also looks pretty cool. I'd like to see him next to Classics Mirage.

The middle part of the rocket actually slots into Omega's back, you can see the recess for it in the base mode.

Thats because its inside his body. You can see his main body has a large empty spot in alt mode. The whole rocket coencts to that and you ge the arms on each side.

Yup it's clear this was design as a 'old G1'-accurate Impactor rather than IDW Impactor. It's just the latter is more famous in the fandom.
