It would have been nice for a longer track especially is they do make the tank battery operated again. I want to get this one. Omega was one of my favorite's back in the day even though I never had him until I got an encore version from takara years ago.
I had Omegatron (UK release of the G1 mold by Grandstand in it's original japanese colours) a couple years ago and it was kinda ok but what I did like were the electronics for walking in robot mode and watching that lil tank go round and round the track while rotating it's turret. Does this one do any of that then? Cos aren't most G1 updates missing the battery operated gimmicks the original toys had?
Also I think Omega's one of the few Siege toys where all that detailing style actually works in it's favour. It does break up the blocky look better than if it was all clean like the original and doesn't look overly cluttered like some of the smaller figures. But yeah the tank does look rather too oversized compared to the tracks (or they look far too small). He's not really covering much distance on his patrol.
