Hasbro probably doesn't know exact dates, that's up to the seller, but they won't even confirm who's exclusives these are (not easily anyway). They'll probably be displayed at SDCC (3 weeks from today!) and we'll get something solid there unless they show up before then. Hasbro doesn't show exclusives at Toy Fair and without BotCon in the Spring we end up with the long wait until July and then October (NYCC) to get official info on exclusives. The time between October and July is basically a dead zone for official info on exclusives, that's when we tend to get the bulk of our leaks.

I'm still missing a skywarp classics deluxe from the set so this guy might be enticing.

However as voyagers, they're already pricey let alone with the extra stuff driving up the price. The mould remains one of my fave and is marred just by the chest plate popping off issue.
My personal prime collection so far in descending order of how great i reckon the toy is -
FE Prime, Silas Breakdown (Powerizer), Dreadwing (Powerizer), FE Bulkhead, Voyager StarScream (Powerizer), Ratchet, Soundwave, Arcee, Voyager Megatron (Powerizer), Wheeljack, Thundertron (Powerizer), Ultra Magnus (Powerizer), Knockout, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee,Airachnid

So I did receive Siege Greenlight yesterday and had a chance to open her up and compare against Moonracer and Novastar and noticed a few interesting things.

First, the instructions make zero mention of her being a combiner limb, which is weird especially since Hasbro seems to be specifically making Greenlight and hopefully Lancer to fill our the Elita-1 combiner. I never liked the look of Moonracer or Novastar as legs, so it took me a while to remember exactly how to get Greenlight into leg mode.

The retooled forearms have removed the 5mm port that is on both the Moonracer/Novastar and Chromia versions of the mold, which is weird for Siege. However, the retooled forearms do look a little bit better in leg mode and the Moonracer/Novastar version of the mold, so it looks like Greenlight and Langer will end up being the legs for me.

In car mode (and leg/arm modes) the retooled forearms fit a bit weird together with the rear fenders that form the backpack. Where the Moonracer and Chromia forearm panels tabbed together to the fenders, the arm panels for Greenlight just kind of fit over the fender panels.

Despite its flaws my kid imagination was still captivated by it. Funny enough more than anything the Nebulans looking so goofy was what bugged me most as a kid

Like I said, it was filled with interesting new concept (or rather, toy gimmicks but same thing in Transformers-land!) which were previously unseen, as the G1 toon mainly only had combiners and triple-changers as gimmick characters. The -masters were a different kind of combination completely different from the five/six-bot gestalts and what they combined with was organic/a cyborg. It was a merging of the mechanical and technological which Transformers just hadn't really done at that point beyond maybe Autobot X or the 'Only Human' episodes.

The Rebirth may not seem like much but we could argue this era of G1 set in motion all the elements which would lead to weirder concepts like Pretenders, Godmasters, Beast Wars and Beast Machine!

I think you're mixing up the 'toon and comic depictions. In the comics, the Nebulan's were cybernetically enhanced to transform their bodies into the heads of the bots and cons. In the 'toon, the heads of the bot's and cons were converted to transforming exosuits, which effectively made the Nebulan's mecha pilots.

Any of you member Classics? Not getting that Thundercracker for years and the Skywarp was exclusive with Ultra Magnus?

Any of you member Armada Starscream and Thundercracker, lateron getting Skywarp with a remolded face etc.?

Any of you member not getting all the 3 seekers in Animated? Any of you member Prime?
All of that was by a different brand team than the one we have now.

OK, so I was RIGHT about Skywarp. I was incorrect about FirestormerAlphastrike Counterforce. I thought it was part of Selects. Now that I know it is also an Amazon exclusive, that makes more sense. (*edit* -Unicron.com has Alphastrike listed as part of the Selects releases...this is where my confusion came from**)

Sorry...its just with all the different release methods for Siege, it gets a little confusing. With this added knowledge, there's a couple ways they coujld go.

Last Year (2018) IIRC the release schedule was:

Blast off (Late June)
Repugnus (Late July)
Punch/Counterpunch (Late August) *or something close to this.

Leader Nemesis Prime was released ON Prime Day.

This Year (2019) we have

Greenlight (Late June)
??? (Late July)
??? (Late August)

Alphastrike Counterforce & Phantomstrike Squadron could be released either of the summer months or....maybe one of these will show up on Prime Day? I'm actually hoping one of them DOES show up on Prime Day, which gives me hope that Lancer is still part of the equation for this summer, maybe a late summer release, rather than having to wait until next year...

I have been collecting since 2014 and in that time we got the following 3 main seekers in all these molds pretty quickly one after another:

MP11 mold
Generations Deluxe
Generations Legends
Generations Leader

So this is just following that trend of getting all 3 seekers.

Skywarp definitely is sporting a half scowl. Well that's cool I mean good lord he looks gorgeous but at least they each have a unique face. Swap 'em where you want 'em but at least there's three different expressions I gotta say I love that. And you get a bunch of way fun blast effects in different colors man that's too cool.

I might be a debbie downer but I really don't share that opinion. I think he looks the worst of the three since his whole motif of black and purple has been changed to grey and moldy. I do want all 3 seekers since I really like that robot mode and transformation, but I will be waiting for a major amazon discount before I get this guy, especially since he comes with extra stuff I don't need.

Speaking of Apeface, it looks like he has a Titan Master head that slots into the back of his gorilla head.

New SIEGE Products reveals: Voyager Apeface, Leader Astrotrain, Deluxe Spinister and Corsshairs

Postby notsoalex » Wed Jun 26, 2019 11:37 am

Weapon: Dual Low-Radiation 1 Megaton Proton Bombs
As San Diego Comic-con 2019 approaches, Hasbro let us savor the reveals yet to come, with some Transformers Generations War for Cybertron SIEGE product reveals, thanks to Seibertronian Sabrblade. We now know of Screenrant's new information (price, release dates, etc.), as well as a brief description of Leader Astrotrain, Voyager Apeface, Deluxe Spinister, and Deluxe Crosshairs. After you've gone through the images, join us on our forums to share your thoughts about these exciting new Generations figures!

LEADER CLASS ASTROTRAIN
(Ages 8 and Up/ Approx. Retail Price: $49.99/ Available: 12/01/2019)

The vaunted master of the Astroforce, the Decepticon Astrotrain, has been a staple of the Transformers line since his original toy was released in 1985. He had plenty of memorable moments in the '80s cartoon, including The Transformers: The Movie, when the defeated Decepticons loaded into him as they escaped Autobot City. His new toy maintains his Generation 1 status as a triple changer, transforming both into a futuristic looking steam engine train and a space shuttle. He comes with two JF-50 Ionic Displacer Blasters, the JF-30 Astro Blaster, the W-15 Destabilizer Cannon, and the W-40 Turbo-Core Derailer. All five accessories can combine to form the Omni-Force Orbital Cannon.

Image

Image

VOYAGER CLASS APEFACE
(Ages 8 and Up/ Approx. Retail Price: $29.99/ Available: 12/01/2019)

This is the first time Apeface has gotten a proper toy since his original release in 1987. The new version stays true to the spirit of the original, with some notable 21st century upgrades. The Decepticon triple changer can go from robot, to ape, to Cybertronian aircraft. In a nod to his origins in the Generation 1 Headmasters line, Apeface's robot head can transform into the diminutive Titan Master Spasma. Accessories include the SA Sonic Boom Blaster and EM Electro Shield.

Image

Image

Image

Image

DELUXE SPINISTER
(Ages 8 and Up/ Approx. Retail Price: $19.99/ Available: 12/01/2019)

Another obscure fan favorite, the original Spinister, was released near the end of Generation 1 in 1988. Like that version, the new War For Cybertron toy transforms from robot mode into a Cybertronian helicopter. He comes with an NFM Dual-Fusion Cannon and a Spin-Blast Particle Beam Cannon. For most of his existence, Spinister was a background character in Transformers fiction, but he gained a devoted following when he was featured in the critically acclaimed, fan favorite IDW comic book series Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye and Transformers: Lost Light. He was a member of the Scavengers, a group of low-level Decepticon soldiers - not exactly frontline warriors - who had no real passion for Megatron's cause and chose to go on their own adventures after the Autobots won the war. This one is sure to thrill IDW fans.

Image

Image

Image

DELUXE CROSSHAIRS
(Ages 8 and Up/ Approx. Retail Price: $19.99/ Available: 12/01/2019)

An Autobot joins the party! Crosshairs is a loving homage to the original 1987 toy - the last time Crosshairs was on toy shelves (though there is an unrelated character in the Micheal Bay live action movies and toyline with the same name). And while he got to hang out with Optimus Prime briefly in the Generation 1 series finale, "The Rebirth," he's been largely dormant ever since. This impressive new deluxe brings him back in style, transforming into a Cybertronian van and packing a W-35 LR Doomblast Forge Launcher, which itself can transform from blaster mode to hammer mode.

Ok, i am legit curious about spinister's transformation, because his leg don't seem to be your usual "split the cockpit", but only one of his leg actually becomes cockpit, so where does the other "cockpit leg" goes?

Also, the Spinister reveal seems like a confirmation of the theory that the fan votes determine which figures we get first, rather than at all.

I'm not really feeling the other figures.

I gotta wondwr how longvthey have been working on that Apeface, aince he's been a rumor since the start of PotP. Me want

I like Spinister.

Astrotrain is probably a definate, I am a sucker for a train, butbI still like the TR version to go with the other two triples.

Crosshairs I will rpobably pass on. I thibk I prefer the conic art of him from TR Kup than this, a bit too much blue, plus I will already have two of that mold on my primary lineup (Long story short part of my top shelf is Generations versions of Aligned/Movie characters) whenever they decide to spill Ratchet, and I really I am still happy with Cloud Ironhide in the Crosshairs Roll. But he has been on a few people's Want lists for a while now and I am glad to see him coming
