Plot twist, the Hasbro-mandated big Optimus presence in the next segment of WfC is fulfilled by Leader Class Gilthor, who is clearly visually an Optimus Prime toy so he cashes in on that market but is also a unique character...it'll never happen, but one can hope.

WFC part 2 will be called "Armageddon" supposedly.
A decepticon fan vote will take place to see who will get a figure.

Well, that's an interesting selection of former Legends-class figures and also Needlenose. Does that group work to all be at the same presumably Deluxe price point scale-wise? I can't find that Sunbow scale chart, and Needlenose wasn't in the show anyway. They would have to be Deluxes, as the Needlenose design should be a Deluxe from the last poll and we don't know if the Legends Class is still gone......oh well. Of them, I would vote for Needlenose, as I feel he's in the most need of an update and the card game design got me excited for possible Tetrajet Needlenose. I am very tempted by Shrapnel because I keep wanting Deluxe or bigger Insecticons, but I feel like him being a fan vote choice means we wouldn't get the whole trio, like FoC Kickback all over again. Also, what would happen with the other Battlecharger if they only release one, a Selects repaint?

If I recall didn't needlenose lose the last fan poll, is hasbro that desperate to get a needlenose figure at retail? (if this is a fan poll I'm still voting for him). Also, we already got gnaw and shrapnel in recent lines, are new ones really necessary?

Thanks to Reddit user typenext on the Transformers subreddit, we have leaked photographs of War for Cybertron: Siege Deluxe Class Bluestreak and Ratchet! The post here gives us a great look at their robot modes, though judging by Ironhide's instruction, whom Ratchet is a retool of, the chest window is mistransformed.

We knew Ratchet would be made due to him being found in Walgreens' database, meanwhile, Bluestreak's box was briefly seen at Toy Fair 2019 as part of the 35th anniversary subline for Siege.

Bluestreak uses the Prowl mold, but with Smokecreen's, who has weapons from both Prowl and Barricade. Meanwhile, Ratchet has new shoulders, weapon, and of course, head.

So, what are your thoughts on these upcoming figures? Be sure to take these images with a grain of salt, as they are leaked images. Did these meet up with expectations? Will you buy these when they release? Be sure to tell us on the Pub forums below!

Ratchet looks great, and so does Bluestreak.

I wonder how people will react to the mostly white nature of Ratchet though.

I love his G1 toy weapon, it looks great, and now I think we need more reprints of this mold. Diaclone anyone?

They both look pretty good. Bluestreak at first glance seems to be the best use of the Prowl mold to me. I wish Ratchet had a red crest though

Oh gee golly!

These look very pretty! However, I noticed it's not using the "chubby" more toon accurate head that you see on Barricade. Was this a mess-up??? I do recall the G1 toy having the same head as prowl if I'm not mistaken.

Also I am hoping for a marvel "red head " version of Ratchet for an exclusive down the line,

but truth be told I really digging these. I have the molds already but the color scheme was enough to get me to want these again - the charm and of recolors and retools.

I would love to get a Blue / Blue ( silver) streak version

Ratchet looks good. I like that they decided to go with clear blue for the windshield. I'm still not sure if I will go for the Datsun brothers or not but right now it's looking like no. Although I don't already have toys of them in my collection, I don't think this mold is strong enough to justify getting all three of them, so I'll just stick with Barricade.

Bluestreak looks on point. The only big "cartoon accuracy" criticism I would give is that the upper arms should be gray, not red. I'm not bothered by the reuse of the Prowl mold head either, as they always looked very similar anyway. I don't think the original toys had different head sculpts, and the cartoon models are close enough, despite some small detailing and shape differences. Technically, the pelvis should have been retooled too, but whatever. A little bit of silver paint on the lower torso would have been good too. I guess the shoulder cannons could have been retooled too, as they are supposed to look different than Smokescreen's, but they don't look bad on Bluestreak. I accept them doing "double duty" in that sense. Overall, I'm very happy with how SIEGE Bluestreak has turned out.

I'm also very happy to see that Ratchet has his animation accurate dark gray/black head crest. The shoulders look good with those red highlights and the light bars as visible kibble from alt mode. They can't really do the Red Cross symbol anymore, so I can't knock them for not being that accurate to the G1 cartoon model. In that regard, I also accept the "extraneous" red paint detailing on the wrists, collar, leg panels, and feet, as otherwise, Ratchet has got a LOT of white/negative space in his deco. What does bother me, though, is that they DIDN'T paint the few parts that are SUPPOSED to be red, like his hands and pelvis. Looking at the plastic color layout for SIEGE Ironhide, I think they should have cast those parts in red plastic and just painted over the shoulders in white where needed. Paying attention to that detail, along with the rest of the detailing "embellishments," would have made for a very sharp looking toy with just two main colors (plus that delicious light blue clear windshield).

Yes--I think that's why I'm not feeling this Ratchet--he's too much of a brick of white. Red waist would have broken it up and red hands would have helped.
