Rated X wrote:I gotta respectfully disagree with you on Hasbro Springer vs. Defender. Besides the fact that Hasbro chose to make him too big to please the kids, he's still too leggy.

G1 Springer is pretty leggy himself:

Isnt that more of a perspective issue than Springer being leggy?
But I wouldnt kick Arcee out of bed for squirting lube on me!!

Arctorro wrote:I really don't understand all the interest in this PoS... The arms are terrible and the legs feet almost as bad. Then it's undersized and over priced! Typical UT business practice![]()
Yes, I agree that we need a decent Galvatron, but this ain't itPersonally I'd prefer to wait for someone else to get it right instead of forking out for another figure that will be replaced later on.
That is a Galvatron I wish I had!Mkall wrote:I'll be keeping my Superlink Galvatron G until something better comes along.

Probably wouldn't ever replace him as my "Classics" Galvatron.

30th Springer pulled off his Three modes better Defender did. Problem for 30th Springer was the slim legs makes him look puny.
Defender looks more tough due to him being more bulky.Gauntlet101010 wrote: Really, it's the arm articulation that stops this from being the final word on Galvatron. I think the legs should be able to stand at attention, but there's no indication those arms will be fixed.
Mania king appears to have universal shoulder joints. Elbow up & down joints. Their appears to be a few swivel joints in the arms.
Problem is Mania king doesn't appear to have any swivel joints in the wrist. Assembling those fist on sideways makes it look odd.
The feet appear to have some type of joint in them. I'd wager at least up or down or maybe side to side.
Since this has a January 2014 release date & it's almost November. my guess a You Tube early proto type video is coming in the next few weeks.
I used to think that about RtS Perceptor, FoC Blaster and FoC Soundwave. I now think they look great with my Classics set and hold Superlink Galvatron in the same light.Agamemnon wrote:Arctorro wrote:That is a Galvatron I wish I had!Mkall wrote:I'll be keeping my Superlink Galvatron G until something better comes along.![]()

The alt mode of Superlink is a little lacking.
For a classics Galvatron...

Here are some more info.
These pictures are a early test shot, without any paint applied.
The Plastic colouring will also be modified.
The painting will be close to the design Picture released some time ago.
The transformation process is quite complicated. Especially the legs.
We didn't take photos of the Cannon mode simply because we didn't figure out how it transform.
Painted Sample should arrive to us soon, hopefully next week.
Rated X wrote:That looks awesome ! I cant wait to see everyone eat their words and buy one. (Like I did with Orion) It's a freaking classics voyager Galvatron. We have all been begging for one for years. If the same exact mold was released by Hasbro for $25.99 this thing would have been met with nothing but praise. (like leggy IDW Springer) So don't hate on the figure. Hate on the fact that you don't want to drop a $115 and try to justify it by nitpicking petty stuff. This figure is pure awesome and just keeps looking better.
