Very cool Va'al. I know that wonderful man of mine will be impressed, he's been on a real Moore trip recently. Under normal circumstances your's would trump mine, but since this is a Transformers site...

Auto Assembly is out of the picture for me.
Can't afford it, really. :(

Just hoping I'll be able to get some money back from the ticket booking.

I just booked mine the other night, and while I didn't really check the details I believe there was a clause covering cancellations with a small admin fee to pay.

Yeah that's what I thought.
There is no clause on the website at the moment, but Simon has been great at replying so far.

Are any Asdas around manchester stocking Wave 2 Deluxes. I want to know where to look since theres about 10 Asdas within a ten mile radius of my house and I don't want to go on a wild goose chase.

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted but my hard drive died on me and I'm waiting for my friend to replace it.

Congrats Va'al!

at Kapow Comicon this weekend I picked up Gen Warpath (very cool) and United BW Megatron (also very cool. and blackcurrant Chewit coloured) from ToyzandGamez. They have a nice carrier bag. I feel their prices are a tad expensive and website selection limited but picked up those two toys for £50 total, which I felt was a good deal. BW Megatron is definitely on the larger side of the deluxe size class, so I can almost forgive the Takara price increase, considering the size of the new Prime figures.

Was quite sad there were no AM toys, as I'd probably have given in and bought one or two if they were right in front of me. Sense usually prevails when I need to log into a site and put card details in. Getting the majority of the single packed Microns though. Still weighing up my options for a 3rd Party Devastator toy though.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

SH*T THAT'S AWESOME.

btw, crosshairs, no-one goes to AA for the guest list. It's about meeting your internet pals in the flesh and bankrupting yourself by buying more tfs than you can ever afford.

INDEED. THAT IS REALLY RATHER EPIC.

And yeah, people go to AA essentially just for the dealer tables, to buy TFs they could never get, did never get, always wanted, never even wanted, don't want but think looks cool, don't want but think looks nice enough for something tiny at like £2 a pop,NEVER EVEN GOT RELEASED IN THE GOD-DARN UK!!! (ROTF mindwipe, hells yeah), and have never heard of.
And you wil very likely spend literally ages rummaging through the boxes of small parts underneath the tables to find just the missile you've always needed. Then possibly find it. And the dealers there are really nice, heck, one even let me have the requim blaster ?I'd eventually cobbled together from the boxes for free!(admittedly, i had bought summat else from him earlier, but still)

In other words, the main factor for going to AA is if you have money :p

oh, I had a pint with Simon Furman on Saturday too. Cool guy. A mate got introduced, but hadn't twigged who he was. I was like "Simon Furman" and his eyes went all hamster pop-out style. ;)

I almost gave Botshots a go today. £5 each and £10 for the launchers? Firetruck off Hasbro! These things are worth maybe £2 and £5, so I'd have expected to see them at around £3 and £7.

same opinion of botshots here too. they're pretty cute, and i'm liking the huge cast they're doing, but they're too expensive for me. and i can't imagine kids will spend the money on these rather than a legends/cyberverse character or save up for a deluxe.

went on a hunt today around my home town Warrington near Manchester, went to 3 Asda's and in the third one I found both Deluxe Ratchet and Arcee, both at £9.97, bought them both but at least others will know they're starting to show up more.

Also bought power core combiner Undertow for £4.97 at toys r us just because I never checked out that toy line and he didn't look as bad as some of the others did :P
