New generations stuff just turned up in my local tru. They had deluxe Orion pax, Megatron, bee and trail... Runner? Cutter? And voyagers Soundwave and Grimlock. Go git em.

My local Toys r Us in Warrington had the new IDW wave of generations, picked up an Orion Pax to custom into a Perceptor seeing as I couldn't find a cheap RTS one on Ebay

They also had Grimlock and Soundwave. Might buy Grimlock if the price drops.

They also had the beast hunters ultimate optimus and they had the constructobots ironhide, the triple changer bumblebee, and the optimus/megatron two pack, can't remember the prices as i wasn't that interested in them but I think they were around the same price as Argos is selling them for.

Damn, then I'll have to wait for Takara to make one, hoped this would come out just like all the other Hasbro MPs before him (save for G1 coloured Shitscream). Not paying aftermarket prices for that thing, especially not concidering all the stupid deco choices on him.

Just had my 4 IDW deluxe figures delivered by Toys R Us and I'm sorry to say they are not the versions as shown on their website, they do not come with comics!

Annoyed and returning them.

It might be a licensing issue, with Titan (I think) having the UK comic rights. There were problems getting the IDW Doctor Who stuff over here a few years back. Or it could just be cost cutting.

I recently found out that Hasbro has all the rights on the international market. Still waiting on a reply about these ones.

no comics means a pass for me. I've got most of them in digital, but was looking forward to physical copies. If the price of the comic was taken off the price of the figure I'd maybe be ok with it...but it's bloody not, is it?

With the discount at TRU they cost £11.74 each plus they do send you a 10% discount code off the next order, though it seems its only valid for a month.

I've asked them about that too, as I know of plenty of willing translators (me! me! me!) that could work into at least half of those languages. Fan-sourcing would be a great idea in this case, as we're all over the place.

Get one for each language who has already read the English version, and get them (me!) to translate them into their own. Done.

(Sigh.. not as easy as that, but you know.. worth dreaming about..)

I can see why printing them might be an issue, as they can barely manage to distribute stuff at all to some European countries, let alone the right localised pack-in comics...maybe a code for a digital version of the comic? That'd be better than nothing.
