Ball joints? Hey fantastic idea! Until they get old and loose and won't bloody pose properly!
But seriously ... the transformations are amazing ideas, take Scorponok for example. Here you have a nearly flat alt mode. You transform him, and you'd think there'd be all these empty spaces, but no, they fill in and you suddenly have yourself a very solid robot mode.
With a giant **** tail that makes posing on a shelf really **** hard!
"For the royalty, hold my beer!"
Yeah no, just calm down Inferno, I know your ant butt is a much larger annoyance than Scorponok and his tail.

Seems more compact, and that way you could sit or stand other figures on him.
Skritz wrote:I never had Rampage as a kid...it sucks to know we'll never see a proper remake of him. Likely not even in third party form.

Don't lose hope, there's always a chance PerfectEffect will do him like they did their other BW figures. (And who knows, if they do we might get a Shokaract out of the mold, and we can finally own one without spending a farcical amount on a redeco with absurdly flaky chrome!)
Rampage is a great toy though. Slightly better articulation and he'd be perfect, and his crab mode is absolutely stellar.
Burn wrote:One thing I noticed yesterday as the unpacking continued, is the number of figures that have heads like a Xenomorph, in that they have this massive huge cranium to accommodate a missile launching from their mouth gimmick.
Makes for displaying them in robot mode quite difficult.
