Found him on SirToys, an oversized reshell of Fansproject T-Bone/Wildrider with what looks like the head of Car Crash/Breakdown but hes now a Hummer-style vehicle!

I have no interest in the other oversized FP knock offs, only this reshell as I needed a large vehicle for a large character which somewhat scales with my Deluxe/Voyager collection.

My intended custom and the large character in question... Impactor! :grin:

If some don't like alpha bravo, offroad and rook. Then it makes no sense to like this KO.
As it's a combiner team member that was given a different vehicle mode. That doesn't match what the Five original combiners teams members vehicle modes were.

Think some over support KO's. Sure if a KO company first created Alpha Bravo, That toy would be praised to no end. Yet it gets hated on due to it being a HasTak toy.

Do YOU like this KO or do you not? What is the point of bringing up "some don't like"? We're not talking about what other people may or may not like. Someone obviously liked it enough to purchase the figure.

I bought myself a Dremel-esque hobby multi tool thingy yesterday which was on offer at Argos.. let the customization commence!! :twisted:

What makes this figure cool is that it was reshelled into a hummer so now it has a legitimate reason to be oversized. Its not even a combiner limb anymore, its a generic classics character which is something I do like. Are there any comparison shots of this figure next to hasbro voyager figures ?

And T, you support KOs just as much as I do, just for different reasons. So please stop putting on a show. The reason alpha bravo gets hated is not because he is a new character, but because he was an imposter. What were they smoking when they decided to paint the vortex/blades mold to look like slingshot ? And I truly believe hasbro told IDW to do that in their comic to justify the toy.

Got my first third parties ever today and I gotta say... they are a PAIN to transform. I have never been so scared transforming a figure ever, its really a whole other ball game. And those instructions :BANG_HEAD:

Heh. I ordered both of those at the same time, too. Astrotrain will tear at your fingers for the first few times, but once you get it all figured out, it'll be worth it. He's a nice figure.

Be careful with the instructions though, terrible, awful, so bad. You'll need a video review to see all of the gimmicks and features involving transformation.

Apollyon? Well, as Thew said: Hot damn, that's my jam! I love mine. He's not perfect, a bit gappy in spots, but everything else hits all the right targets and he's well worth the $150.00 paid.

Nothing against KOs as I did own a G1 Devastator ver.K before TT released the real thing. But I hope a certain "someone" would be forthcoming on whether he actually bought the original MP UM and was not fibbing once the KO UM comes out.

Nothing wrong getting a KO, its the fibbing part thats wrong.

Oh man, after spending quite some time with Evilastar, I can say that this is probably on of the best transforming toys I have ever held. I absolutely love this guy. Yes, the instructions were horrid but a few reviews revealed what I needed to know. And now I can enjoy transforming him from any mode to another. I have never been so satisfied transforming a figure since MP 12. Still dont know wht those small black bagged plastic pieces are for though. If any knows, please reply

I am not feeling as strong for Apollyon though. His transformation is almost the same as MP 05 and there are some small pieces that need me to use tweasers, which is not something I want to do when I play with my toys. That long thin rod like panel in his back plate is terrifying to deal with and I find the way his gun handle panels collapse into feet to be a bit clumsy. Do they tab at all anywhere? Its not a bad price at all because the bot mode is amazing and solid and there are a ton of fun accessories, but I still feel I got a better figure in Evilastar for 100$ than Appolyon for 150$. The engineering on Evilastar is simply out of this world.

His hands and his head when converting him from gun to robot and especially that little long and thin piece along his back. It got stuck inside him when I was bringing him from gun to robot. I am so afraid of breaking that sliver of a piece.

I love this figure: in my opinion, great, evocative robot and alternative mode, excellent materials and transformation; price like the official line.

Been on a bit of a spree, but all of the following were good prices:

PE-01, 02, 05 sets. (Menasor, Defensor and Superion hand/feet upgrades.)

AllFun/AOFeng Toys Titanium Saint (Alpha Trion)

ToyWorld 03 Bii

Alpha Trion is an amazing figure. Amazing. Not worth the original price of $114.00 (oh heck no) but I got mine used and got it for $50.00 cheaper and have zero regrets. It is a BEAUTIFUL and well made figure. Rock solid construction and doesn't feel 3rd party, it feels like a TOY. You can play with this guy, he's that solid and he ain't light either.

The PE sets are an absolute must. They make the combiners just amazing and the poses they can pull off are killer.

Bii... Let you know when I finally open him.
