Poor Pipes, that scene still makes me sad. But Takara Overlord looks nice. Dont like the fake godmasters though. I would rather be able to put in titanmasters with Shapeways engines.

I too prefer Hasbro's deco to Takara's this time (Rebirth vs Headmasters.)

But how do you get the Takara clones? Simply order from HLJ, AmiAmi or Anime-Export.

And the Hasbro clones? The twins are separated and all kinds of exclusive.

They were such minor characters anyway, so I'll go with Takara again.

I agree the Hasbro Clones look a tad better. But, FINALLY! The Clones in a nice tidy little package that I don't have to jump through hoops and burn money to acquire! The wait pays off again! :DANCE:

It was intended to be a joke.

I usually prefer the Hasbro paint jobs when they're not skimpy. When they actually paint a figure they focus on making it look good rather than cartoon accurate. Cartoon accurate is not always the best thing.

They might be fixed in. And there not Titan masters. Look at them. They don't have a joint at the neck like Titan masters. Theyre a solid piece.

Not really a shock, ginrai had a fake powermaster engine on his chest and these arnt the same transtectors. They're new trantectors that look like the old ones as the legends fiction has established.

mega and giga look good. but it kind of looks like the engines aren't removable from his chest. I do like the hasbro chest panels better too. still, this is the overlord I will probably be getting

He really Belongs to the Prime Master/Powermaster Gimmick line. in case you know. :-?

Probably we might get a Re-issue of Overlord soon on PoTP. :-P

He doesn't share the potp gimmick and Takara is usually 6 months behind releasing what Hasbro releases and like I said before those engines done transform. They're just for looks like ginrai's was. Look how deep they are in those cavities.

Overlord's being released in 2018 because that follows Takara's schedule. Unless they for some reason wanted him released in an earlier wave, this is just where he'd happen to end up.

I've gotta be honest, I'm a bit disappointed here. Aside from Blitzwing's head, the cartoon accuracy here kinda makes each of these figures look worse -- the clones have those terrible red faces, and Blitzwing has very powdery soft shades of purple and tan that just don't fit his character. And Overlord... I dunno. Parts of him are better than the Hasbro version, some are worse; but it's clear that Sky Shadow is still the coolest looking of this mold.

Well, mixed news for the wallet today. No need for the new Hot Rod MP, but this Overlord is a must buy.
Here's a question for anyone that has the Hasbro Overlord or Sky Shadow: in base mode, can the legs bend outward, into a 'v' position, or are they locked straight forward as they are most often displayed?

It can also do the "Space Jet" Mode
