On a more serious note, with the better photos coming out now, it looks like this upcoming year is going to be pretty sweet.
shortround wrote:That cycle armor does look cool, as well as several of the upcoming figures. Hasbro has mentioned in a couple of interview that they had planed to do two more playsets before the end of the movie line, but maybe they changed there mind because the pitt playset wasn't selling well. Oh well who can ever guess what a big company has planed things change day to day and month to month. I'm just glad were getting some cool stuff for 2010 since there seems to nothing coming out of transformers side of hasbro, also has anyone found a dragon hawk or crimson hydra since original release at start of august.

Saw both at TRU when I got the pitt commando. Think I'll get the Dragonhawk first.

Thanks to the folks at GeneralJoes.com, we get some new info about soon to be released GI Joe Rise of Cobra figure showcased at GI Joe Con 2009 that look an awful lot like a Transformers Crossover. The only exception to this is that the 3/4 inch scale figure the vehicle is meant for actually combines with it to for a "Robotechesque" body armor.
The Ashiko figure with Cycle Armor is part of the Alpha Vehicle Wave 1 figures set for release sometime in 2010. No word on whether or not there will be more figures like this, but given the immense popularity of the Transformers brand it's definitely a possiblity.
shortround wrote:I have to say no one seems to be talking about anything other than cycle armor, it's cool and all but there were other vehicles shown off during convention. I have to say it cool that were finally get a hiss tank with really work treads, and some of the other figures were pretty cool as well, the one that caught my eye in the pictures that were released is the new beachhead, as well as the shadow tracker who kind of looks like the predator. The problem I have with the jungle viper is the figure looks like a gundam human hybrid.
