Toxitron isn't *really* G2 is he? He does fit right in his bright neon colors, so yeah... G2 continues to surprise me with what was left on the cutting room floor. :lol:

He's the exception, yeah, since he was an unreleased Universe deco.

I guess Hasbro saw that he was an unreleased redeco of a G2 mold, and just made a mistake, but decided to theme the whole subline around him anyway.

I'd forgotten galaxy shuttle was velocitrons 2nd Leader class figure. Will be interesting to see if this gets a second Voyager figure if any -or if toxitrons released at voyager price with how quick the previous uses of the mold dropped over here.

Sweet! I stopped collecting Transformers because there hasn't been anything good since Earthrise. I hate majority of Legacy. But Hasbro is starting to make a few I want.

Guardian Robot USA MUST BUY.

And now Cloudcover is an automatic buy.

That lighter blue G1 Thundercracker looks really cool.

I really want a Toxitron but I'm not too sure about this one, that alt mode doesn't look too good. I don't like how the trailer is a completely different color than the cab. The trailer really needs some of that green. It doesn't look right being all black. It looks like they forgot to paint it.

I definitely want the SG Grimlock, not too sure about this one. 3 leader Grimlocks are too expensive. And I still have to get Snarl & Swoop.

I'm sorry, I'm a fan of G2, its where I started collecting. But most of these are hideous.

Like, Jazz has an actual, GOOD G2 release, WTF is this orange thing?

The only one of these reveals that interests me is the G1 Hound rerelease, because I never got a version of him.

I guess it was unclear I was being facetious, but I'm not asking where they got it from, that was clear in the newspost. I'm more asking why they wasted plastic on this hideous orange thing rather than, ya know, actually do G2 Jazz in a G2 themed release, haha. Most of these were clearly never released for a reason.

I do love this G2 deco for Jazz - I do like the one that was actually released too but I enjoy them going to a deep cut with an unreleased one. I think it looks snazzy!

Also Jelze's post does make me interested in seeing that come to light...after all we already have a recent Road Rocket perfectly available...

G2 Jazz was more of a repaint than a redeco: plastic colors were kept the same, only the tampos and stickers were changed. In other words, like G2 Inferno, he would have been too similar to his original release.

This whole capsule is an automatic buy for me. All of the unreleased G2 decos, this is great! I love all 4 of these so far a ton!!!!!

I hope we see more, like Laser Cycle Jazz. Tigerstripe Grimlock may be my favorite of this group. I guess I feel better about getting SG Grimlock now since I'll have to get the mold again.

I'm just so excited!

Hasbro is constantly wasting plastic on crap we don't need. Like making 50 trillion different versions of Bumblebee. Or making Ironhide in Earthrise & then immediately making another Ironhide in Studio Series. WTF??? :???:

Meanwhile, they refuse to make 1 full set of Deluxe Insecticons with their own original molds. That's asking too much! :-x

I imagine if they were to do a second Voyager later it would be one of these jets:

I'm considering getting Toxitron and putting :SG-CONS:

logos on him, on the premise that he's the heroic clone of Shattered Glass's evil Optimus Prime. That feels like that's really the role that deco was meant for.

But for me, I wouldn't be a good guy at all. He's TOXICtron after all. Like Laser Optimus, he'll simply be an evolution of the original SG Optimus. Thus, a :SG-BOTS:

Heh, that is an interesting idea where Toxitron is SG Prime's evolution, and I think it fits with Megs becoming Galvy - what with being a living weapon and all that. I could see the Toxitron form being crazier too to also parallel with Galvy!

Got my Cloudcover order in at Pulse today. I wasn't planning to collect every weird seeker deco, but after I talked myself into G2 Ramjet and Sandstorm, this was the only way it could go. Passing on everyone else since I generally don't get alternate decos of the same character, and I've never had any interest in Toxitron.

I collect GI Joe Classified too and HAD to get that Range Viper, but it sold out in like 15 minutes on Pulse, so I had to order via WalMart's site. Requested that and retro Hound. I have NOT had good experiences with WalMart, like ever, so we'll see if I actually get them. At least shipping was free.

*Sigh* after the mess Walmart made out of Velocitron I broke down and got a Pulse Premium membership and ordered Toxitron, Jazz, Cloudcover and G1 Movie Thundercracker. Unfortunately Hound already sold out.
