My local Walmart the other day, they're really heavily stocking Velocitron.

There's 6 Road Rockets there so that's at least three cases plus the case I bought from so that's four cases worth of Deluxes so far that I'm aware of. Is there 2 or 3 Scourges in a case? There's 3 in that picture (it's hard to see, but you can almost make out the top box tab). I bought from the first case, that maybe the second or second and third case there. Pretty sure that's the second Hauler case. Haven't seen Override restocked yet, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been. Overall this is better stocking that I'd seen any of the Netflix figures get.

Seriously though was at least one of your purchases Cosmos? I get frustrated every time I hit up a Walmart to see multiples of everyone else but never Cosmos so I've basically given up for now and am hoping for a reissue.

Speaking of which, because I went shopping today at an unusually early time (because I had a day off), I was actually able to spot a single Clampdown, which I'm sure wont last long. Still no Cosmos though. Those 2 (along with Voyager Override) are clearly the winners of this subline. Cosmos & Overrise make sense being brand new molds. Not sure exactly why Clampdown (like the 20th use of the WFC Sideswipe mold) is so popular, but it is what it is...

She had 2 per case and Clampdown had only 1, so for Diaclone collectors, there would be a Burnout left afterwards.

And yeah, I've got the whole set. I was lucky enough to be at Walmart in the morning just as they were putting them out. Department manager said he was a collector, too and handed me one of each Deluxe right out of the box.

There is also the fact that Clampdown goes together with Deep Cover as his partner. Those who already have Deep Cover would need Clampdown to complete the duo.

Honestly my use of "completionism" was intended to encompass people who were buying the whole Velocitron set, people buying all the Diaclone stuff, and people getting him to go with Deep Cover, but I just wrote the one word quickly because I was on my way out the door at the time.

Well it's likely due to several factors and not just a simple matter, part of which is that he's only packed 1 per case which leads to a lot of people scalping due to the scarcity plus it also being an exclusive at a merchant with poor track record for getting them in stock.

The reason I want Clampdown isn't because I have Deep Cover but because I've always had a thing with Police cars especially of varying makes.

I am glad unpopular dead characters like clampdown, tiger tracks, and deep cover got new toys. No one is forcing you to buy every version of the mold. But the idea of sideswipe recolored into a Lamborghini police car is humorous.

Has anyone tried to make some sort of race track out of the cardboard inserts for the boxes? With the blue arrow pattern I think it could make for an interesting display.

Cosmos and clampdown are currently back in stock as part of pulse's seiregular friday noon restock! Currently premium exclusive, probably until 1 o' clock, and likely to sell out before then, but it's there!

I came so f@@king close to getting Clampdown and some kind @@@hole snipped the ties that are so nicely exposed in this line...fooled/messed with it and put it back in the box on the peg. I shoulda taken a pic to share my total rage! #-o

Naturally I could not bring myself to buy it cuz I don't know what's been taken or what. I did though hand it to a store member letting them know of the condition and to not leave it out. I wish I could have caught the no good sack miscreant and verbally bitch them out exposing them...'nuff said! :-x

Or he could have bought it, verified whether everything was in the pack and kept it. Only thing in there are instructions and well known Sideswipe mold accessories.

What's "highly doubtful" about it? He said it was in the package but not strapped down. He didn't want to 'take the risk' of it not being complete. Same return policy applies...he could have verified it was complete or not and got his money back, or not.
