I’m still waiting for any Walmarts in my area to get the deluxes in. For the past two weeks, they all keep claiming they’re scheduled to come on that day’s truck, but they never come, and the ETA keeps getting pushed back a day or two. It’s got to be a distribution center problem at this point. Someone is not sending out the Velocitron stuff on the trucks. Either they are super low priority and keep getting pushed to the back burner, or someone f’ed up really bad and can’t find the inventory.

The one exception has been a store that put out just Override on Friday. I picked one up, and they were all gone by Sunday. No sign of Roadhauler or Black Convoy, yet.

Are your stores doing the fall reset? If so, they're probably in the store. Most are waiting to put out the product to coincide with the reset. I got a Road Hauler last week from a store that just stuck him out there, but he was definitely in the minority.

Also, small possibility, but one I have encountered: the figures are in the wrong place on the shelves. The last 2 times I was at my Wal-Mart, I found the legacy deluxes and Scourge further down the aisle away from the TF section, just on random spots. Probably because the TF section is still full of Bulkheads, SS86 Hot Rods and Starscreams, and Bumblebee Soundwaves. So make sure you walk the entire aisle, just in case lazy stockers took the easy way out.

Yes, most completed the reset over a week ago. The tags are up, but no product. I have an employee scan the Deluxe Class Velocitron tags (most stores have three spots arranged in a column), and they come up with none in stock, but scheduled to arrive on the truck that night or the next. But each morning, nothing has changed, and another scan reveals still nothing in stock, but due in another day or so. It’s maddening.

I’ll try looking at other shelves too, but like I said above, the reset is done, so tags for the Velocitron stuff are up, and spaces cleared, with nothing to show for it. We don’t have too many Bulkheads around. The Legacy wave 1 deluxes, SS core class, and the Legacy Beast assortment are the majority of the leftovers.

Keep at it, man. I spent all day yesterday looking for these things and drove all the gas out of my car only to find it right before I showed up to work. I had my hand in the air to tap out, but grabbed the rope instead - in a manner of speaking. :lol:

I struck out again at lunch. Still no stock of Velocitron figures and the corresponding pegs and shelf spaces are completely bare. I did, however, find they had put out a case of Legacy Wave 2 Voyagers. Go figure! I got Jhiaxus. There was another one still left, plus one Soundwave, but all boxes were smashed up. I don’t think it’s per se a Walmart issue either. These new plastic-less open window boxes are too flimsy. They literally disintegrate on the shelves, far more than the usual amount of careless handling by employees and kids. If Hasbro doesn’t want to do plastic windows anymore, I think all Generations stuff should be closed box, like Leader, Commander, and Titan Class Legacy figures.

FYI, remember how every toy in this line is also being distributed through solid cases? Well, it turns out that so far in the US, the voyagers are being shipped to stores in said solid cases, as they are in the UK. Canada, however, is getting the assorted cases of 2 Overrides to 1 Hauler.

See, I was going to say Classics but I think you're right. Although at my age I barely remember yesterday. What was I posting about again?

Since Walmart.com pushed back my order to November at the earliest, I canceled Blurr and not Skids and ordered them through Pulse which has them in stock. I'm on the fence about Road Rocket since I'm just not feeling the mold or character.

After taking a trip to 2 Walmart's I finally spotted the new figs to view. Unfortunately I had to weed out the lame figures to score Road Hauler and Clampdown but alas just Road Hauler. So he will be reprogramed to

just like DK-2. ;)^

I had a stare down with Sourge and though I enjoy the Black Primes and the Nemesis Primes I got something just kept me from adding him to my fold so I passed up. :VEHI:

Success at last! On my lunch break today, I checked the nearby Walmart. The Velocitron deluxes weren't on the shelves still, but a case of Overrides had been put out. Several employees were actually stocking the toy shelves. I asked one to scan the deluxe tags, and he said they had them in back, but didn't know when they'd get to them. I checked again right after work this evening, and the whole deluxe case was on the shelves. I got the one Cosmos there and also got Blurr after seeing him in hand. Cosmos is a really fun little figure. I hope those solid cases of him get out in the wild here in the U.S. He's too good for fans to miss out on him! The transformation is very fun, satisfying, and well designed. I don't mind the hollow forearms too much, and his checked flag is adorable! Good luck to everyone who wants to get him!

My nearest Wal-Mart had put out a couple of cases of the voyagers and Scourge, to my pleasant surprise!

Adding Override to my collection has been a long time coming. I remember seeing the original in stores but not being able to get it that day, and then never saw it again. I considered getting the vintage or even that third party figure a few times, but never got around to it. I'm glad I waited! It's so nice to finally be able to fill that hole in my Cybertron collection with such a good representation of the character. I'm very happy this thing exists.

Here she is with her fellow Velocitronians. Hard to imagine they have been in my collection for some sixteen years now!

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but there is a slot in the back of her blaster which is suspiciously shaped... It fits a Cyber Planet Key quite snugly! Even though the barrels are manual, you can still pull off some Cyber Key Power!

I hope you don't mind me butting in but I am really not a fan of that original override toy. Cubertron is one of the best lines we've ever gotten, but it had a few clunkers and I find override to be one of them.

honestly CHuckdawg1999 is probably the first I've heard say likes it, everyone else either hates it, or sheepishly says "it needed the update" in a negative way

Went to Walmart today.
Shelves have been updated.

The velocitron deluxe
Blurr, Burn out, and Road Rocket (which I dont care about)
A few Scourges like last time
No Cosmos or Nitronimus Prime, which were the only velocitron I care about

Soundwave and Jhiaxus are there now, so I bought Soundwave. Very cool.
Elita one not there, so I won't cancel the pre order just yet.

Got Road Rocket and it's my first experience with the mold. My waist doesn't lock, so the figure's torso can easily rock back when attempting a pose. Am I missing something or did others experience this?

I thought the same at first with Prime arcee but I was able to get the waist to lock with an extra push
