I'm mixed on this update if this is accurate info, honestly, because Blurr not using the Pointblank mold could mean this line comes out sooner, but on the other hand I was excited for Armada Blurr and the SS86 Blurr mold is kinda crap IMO.

There's no reasoning with him about this... No one said voyager sized, which isnt really a thing anymore, it's all about price points. And all that confirmed here is the voyager price point. Also, it isn't the extra crap which gave Hot Rod his pricepoint, it was his parts count (complexity). The extra crap is just Hasbro giving you a visual cue to maybe help you come to terms with the price, even if it's not the biggest contributing factor.
Yes, yes it is. Why someone thought doing him and Kup in their G1 toy colors was a good idea, I'll never know.Nemesis Primal wrote:...oh, right.Sabrblade wrote:Think something like the difference between Titans Return Blurr and Legends Blurr:Nemesis Primal wrote:right now there is (sadly) a non-zero chance of it being a Toy Colors G1 Blurr instead (even though I cannot tell what difference in deco that would make),
Gross.
The hope was that a sufficient campaign would convince them there wouldn't be enough sales to bother with a separate line. In light of a more known plan, that's not gonna happen of course. But maybe we can convince them that crapverride won't sell and that they should name the line something else? I realize that's slim, but... Ugh...TF-fan kev777 wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:we should all write in to tell them what a ridiculous mistake it is and that they should either backpedal and do Hot Shot - who that mold actually could pull off, making the idea of trying to force it to be Override even dumber - instead... or just scrap the line and make Hauler a Selects figure.
You understand that has zero chance of working right? There is no way Hasbro would scrap a line just based on a fan letter writing campaign. A decrease in sales is the only real way to get their attention. And even then, it took 2 years of the titans going to liquidation before they scaled back the production runs.

This is true though I accidentally left out the word "exclusive". There was a time when getting an exclusive that was anything more than a new head and deco seemed incredibly unlikely, now we're getting entirely new molds even. We've come a long way.

Wow you really zero clue how this stuff works do you? Writing campaigns? Try and get them to change the name of the line? You understand the the packaging is already being printed like now or already has? That trademarks and copyrights have to be done for literally almost everything? Or that Walmart buys these exclusives for their retail and you can’t just pull one or any out of it out to put some where else due to legal tape all over them?
Writing campaign…these are toys
Also I wouldn’t take anyones writing campaign from someone that uses childish lingo like “smegging” or changes a characters name to include “crap” in their name serious because they think the toy isn’t going to look good even though they haven’t seen it.

Pointblank was one of the names listed among the Deluxes in the intial JTPrime leak for the whole Legacy product line. He's supposedly going to be in Wave 3 with Dead End, Crankcase, and an "Energon Monster" which many have speculated will be a repaint of one of the Kingdom Fossilizers. The popular speculation right now is that Velocitron Blurr is going to be a repaint of this new Pointblank as Armada Blurr, because the two share a few similarities (namely the shoulder pads and the front half of the vehicle mode being vaguely similar).

And yes, I'm also curious as to how we can get Cosmos from Warpath.
