Eh, the more you know.
Still, 20 years make them from 2002. So they are still new and recent.
.............Right?
Hahaha, how's this....
2002 is closer to the G1 era than it is to today.
I hate you.

Rodimus Prime wrote:When Wal-Mart had the reissue of Devastator he sold out pretty quick where I live. The Wal-Mart only got 6 in and they were gone, never to return. I wonder if Hasbro will bring that set back, or maybe release another combiner team. I would think the Aerialbots would follow the Constructicons.
Also, perhaps the scramble style combining makes their combining joints more prone to breaking? Those pieces aren't very thick. Maybe that's why Devy got released and the others didn't?Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:When Wal-Mart had the reissue of Devastator he sold out pretty quick where I live. That actually has me thinking: would fragility play a role in which toys get reissued? Silverbolt especially has fragile leg joints as I've read...

I think Omega Supreme or Sky Lynx have a better chance of getting reissued than any of the Autobot combiners.

I predict a Select G2 Stunticon set from Takara sooner or later. Due to the fact that it's now a freaking COMMANDER instead of a voyager, the set will be expensive as hell for sure.

We're talking about G1 reissues not modern figures.

I had G1 Starscream back in 'the day'. This is just serving to remind me what a parts-forming mess those G1 seekers were, and how much better the modern figures are by comparison. Yes, ER Starscream has his drawbacks, but it's light years beyond the G1 figures.
DeathReviews wrote:Didn't they do a re-release of the entire Insecticon collection just a few years ago? A lot of re-releases have wound up shelf-warming, then being sold for a loss on clearance. You would think that would make them a little more gun-shy at the prospect of making more of them...
