I'm just having some fun. From the picture, you can only see two wheels on the "cab" of the alt mode. Even in the robot mode of Rodimus Prime's G1 toy, you can only see two obvious wheels on his shoulders. Don't take everything said here too seriously. We all love Transformers. :)

Honestly, if it has a trailer my issues are solved. I'm fine with them making the front of the trailer a detachable Hotrod-esque car; it's in the animation. And it's more interesting than a robot that turns into nothing on its own anyway.

In all fairness, he does have 4 wheels in robot mode: the two obvious ones on his shoulders, and two inconspicuous wheels in his shins that everyone likes to ignore

I'm positive the figure will have a trailer, a more substantial one than Optimus' for sure. I can't help but wanting to compare him to PotP Rodimus Prime once the full figure is revealed.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1

Correct. As such a Commander Class figure should have enough budget and plastic to manage it and not have a dinky trailer.

Still, Titanium is a pretty decent attempt all things considered.

As it is, This Rodimus will be an MP-09 all over again. Let's hope its less prone to breakage and without the faux car front in comblined mode.

Can't be a retool. We see from the image that this one doesn't have a fake chest, unlike SS86 Hot Rod. Meaning the transformation s completely different. These are different toys, unelated to one another.

Regardless of where everyone falls on opinions for Rodimus, at least we now know that there is gonna be a "reveal" from Hasbro some time between now, and a week from now? I'd assume either Friday for a FFF, or Tuesday for a Transformers Tuesday where they reveal Rodimus, Galvatron, and maybe if we're lucky Mainframe and the Ark! And Scorponok and Rhinox, please Hasbro

Multiple people on TFW translated the text in the image, apparently it not only calls him out as turning into a "trailer truck" (which confirms for certain he does in fact have the trailer and it isn't in this image), but also the red text is talking about Rodimus being set to be revealed on the 10th like the news post speculated. I'm assuming that means that'll be the Takara reveal, and therefore Hasbro will show him earlier than that, but who knows at this point.

It's a good-looking Rodimus, and the sword both looks cool and matches with the leaks, I just personally don't care enough about the character to pay $80. So far the only Commander I've even considered is Sky Lynx, where are the big Cons at Hasbro?

It's a shame that Hasbro keeps waiting to reveal every Kingdom wave so far until after a good portion of it has leaked though. First wave had Rattrap, Cyclonus, and all the Deluxes leak, second wave had all the Deluxes and Voyagers leak, and now that we've got Rodimus I'm expecting at this point we'll get leaks of everything except the Cores for the next wave before Hasbro actually shows it, even if the reveal is within this week.

Unfortunately the pandemic has changed a lot. I remember when NYCC would usually have all of wave 2 & 3 for the next year, and a tease at the next titan. Toyfair in February would reveal the rest of the line (wave 4 and beyond if there was any) as well as the CC, and official full reveal of the next Titan. We are in the beginning of March now. I expect full official wave 3, CC & Titan to come sooner than later
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

all silver face , still has goatee but all silver. It's a mixture of Megatron Siege with Big Red eye and Earthrise mouth. Good looking, a mild angry face.

He is nearly as tall as Magnus and taller than Cyclonus.

This one has a static matrix chain which is molded in a hanging shape that fit the torso shape of Galvatron. It even has peg to hang onto Cannon mode.

The Titan Rturn purple but more matte and robust
Has slight printed lilac battle damage on front torso and forearm. He also has printed gloss orange on his plasma cannon.
(when asked more about the cannon's paint)
it's not fully painted. Still clear orange from half to the tip , the rest has that glowy painted orange. In hand it looks good.

Oh , he is much taller than Earthrise Meg.
Also his cannon can be placed both on his bicep and his forearm , to your liking

they share nothing. Completely new
To say it short, He is scarely close to Fanstoys Sovereign. No kibble, Clean back.

THANK YOU for sharing this news!!!!
This is one of those times when I realize, "How long have we waited for this figure (with this level of quality in multiple aspects) to be released??!!!?"!
And I know as of now there's no guarantee I'm going to love this figure... But that description sounds damn promising...
I'll admit I think it may be a bit strange if he's that much taller than Cyclonus, but I'm definitely not going to complain. Reminds me of the deluxe-sized Universe version that while good for the time, was still a letdown in some regards.
Fingers crossed in the next few weeks we get some actual photos!

For me, this overshadows the news about Rodimus.
I'm sure I'll still consider getting him, but then again, if he's $70-$80, I'm going to need to be really impressed. Especially since he's not one of my favorite characters.

You're missing the point. The Titanium had to make its trailer dinky not just for budget reasons but because that trailer was going to form his legs and a full-sized properly-scaled trailer would have made the legs enormous and ridiculously out of proportion with the rest of the robot mode. All that mass has to go somewhere, so the Titanium chopped it in half to make a smaller trailer for better legs. Otherwise, all budgeting aside, the legs would either bee too long or too fat, or both.

Right, yeah. Maybe the really big accessories were absent.

The Wing Armour was dropped a while back and seemingly became the Dual Revenges / Railgun. It's possible that Hasbro separated it for a future release (like Galaxy Upgrade Prime in Siege).

Right, yeah. Maybe the really big accessories were absent.

The Wing Armour was dropped a while back and seemingly became the Dual Revenges / Railgun. It's possible that Hasbro separated it for a future release (like Galaxy Upgrade Prime in Siege).

If they're still in the mold then there's also the possibility of them being included with the Selects version since we don't exactly need four Revenges and another Matrix chain (though that's something I associate with gray Galvatron II). Plus the gray version will likely homage Energon Megatron better than the purple one can homage Energon Galvatron being the entire wrong shade of purple (from the cartoon anyway).

Here, I threw this together to prove that Rodimus Prime and Hot Rod are not retools or upscales in any way. (Rodimus will be Voyager scale figure, Rodimus is Deluxe figure sold at a Voyager price point.)

Is it just me or does Rodimus' sword bare more than just a passing resemblance to the sword that comes with Nemesis Prime (twice now). The handle and guard are different, but both do have the big rectangle at the base of the blade and the blade itself is very close in shape. Can't be a coincidence, it's like Nemesis Prime's Dark Saber is a corrupted version of the Sword of Primus.

Motto: "The only good is knowledge, and the only evil is ignorance."
It is coincidence. Sword blades that are wider at the tip than at the guard are quite common in popular culture, I believe: they're classified as Broadswords. Though, the Star and Dark Sabers are extreme examples of such divergence in width; they'd be terribly balanced in real life
The resident Rewind... well, half of one
