If they did those up in silver and released them separately I'd count 'em.

I got the Armored Battalion set for 'free' when I spent $500 at TFsource for Black Friday. And given that they discounted the set to $130 from the original $160 retail, they might just go ahead and do that again this year. You never know.

Either way, I'd shy away from the Maiden Japan set. I had that for a short time, but decided that the quality and risk of breakage simply wasn't worth the $35-$45.

I'm not sure if it was optibotimus or the other guy (sorry forgot his name)who called Daca Cronus/Skyfire's backpack a red shampoo bottle. But I'm wishing for a anime accurate G1 back pack for the recent G1 Jetfire release. That and armor covers for his hollow parts. And an upsized version of henkei Skyfire's gun.........it's more show accurate in both design and colors.

Also, a chromed shoulder mounted flame thrower for Generations Jazz. And a Galaxial rocket launcher for MP Grimlock.

Thinking about it now, how about a show accurate gun for universe Cheetor ? That tail whip and shuriken were lame...

G1 accurate guns for Quad U and FP not Skullcruncher when he is released would be nice.

Since I have just got back into collecting again I found I have been just sticking to HasTak official figs and the upgrade kits only buying a full on 3rd party figure unless I really feel some childhood connection or like the character

It's not that they're too expensive. It's that they're too expensive for what they are. I don't want the deluxe insecticons. The weapons they come with are, then, just not options.

ill second the jetfire upgrades. i could live with his stock backpack, but i do want him show accurate. so that means those armor bits should come off and hollow bits be covered. im pretty confident some 3P out there will tackle that.

with all the launchers made for the classics cars, its surprising that no one made jazz's. personally i dont need it cause he didnt have it in the cartoon.

Not saying it was the greatest update mold ever made, but it did it's job back in 2008. Rhinox/Waspinator/Ratrap are executed better I admit, but youre talking 4-5 years later. Im good with that figure, just wish he had his gun since the others all have theirs.

Thanks dude. I still kept an eye on the Seibertron.com but just stopped collecting due to just getting out of control and trying to buy anything that came out. Now I just stick to what I really want or just add on kits. Add on kits are pretty cool in my books .

To be honest, though, I think the relrelease of the original Cheetor mould is better than that one. Even the Titanium one looks better, but that's Best Machines.

the Universe repaint of Night Slash Cheetor is really nice, but I'd say the Transmetal one is the best.

Thought the Classics 2.0 Cheetor toy was vastly inferior to the 1996 BW Deluxe Cheetor toy.

I'd like FP to do to the Energon Constructicons what they did to the Energon Combaticons- add 2 extra limb molds and some weapons/accessories to improve the combined mode a bit. I have Steamhammer and he's a great toy (although sadly a broken leg hinge means he can't combine) and I intend to get a replacement, along with the Constructicons to assemble a sort of Neo Constructicon team, but if FP did the upgrade for them I would be happy.

A replacement for FP Bruticus's head with either soft plastic or diecast antenna. One of the antenna on mine snapped off thanks to the weak plastic they're made from. Diecast would be a lot stronger and soft plastic would be both cheap and durable (and also the shape/size of them means they aren't likely to warp).

Replacement hands/arms for Animated Arcee, with slightly better articulation and stronger thumbs. Also some kind of ranged weapon for her would be good.

Airrachnid really needs a whole new figure, but I'd be happy to take a replacement set of arms and a new rotor.

A big pack of lots of 5mm post weapons (guns, swords and shields and the like) would be awesome.

Id like to see more weapon packs. DR Wu make some great weapons but very specialised. Sword for one char etc. Id like to see more 'generic' weapons. Like a pack of weapons swords, sheilds, shotguns etc like what is meant to be coming out for evasion mode prime.

personally, id bank on a third mania king release, in G1 toy colors, which i can assume would have a clear orange barrel. ive seen digibashes, and if it were ever made i would so buy it.

IUf you're looking for a replacement head, Crazy Devy did one that was the same as the original except it lit up. Of course the thing was crazy expensive.

I can only speak for the first Gear of War set, but the included weapons were a bit crap. Mainly because they were all chromed, and they all needed assembly, but the designers did not factor in the extra thickness that the chrome would add when designing the molds. So they are quite a pain in the arse to put together, and you better make a decision on how you want them to remain forever the first time! Because good luck to you if you ever want to get them apart.

Of course, I mainly bought the set for the ladder for Inferno. And other then some obnoxious "TFC" branding on the side, it is a nice ladder. Also, the Autoscout is quite nice.

I never bothered even assembling the giant transclearent orange plastic box for Mirage to stand in. That just struck me as a complete waist of space.

As for the weapons included with the G3 Trailer for Classics Prime, they are great weapons! But hardly "generic" as Maxman was hoping for. One is a small gun for Bumblebee, one is a new better gun for Hound designed to be able to attach to both of his modes. One is a shoulder canon for Sideswipe. One is a sword for Grimlock. And finally, a shoulder canon for Mirage.

I suppose technically any of them could be used with other figures. Only Mirage's is entirely specific to his mold, where as others should work with figures that have similarly sized peg holes. but they are still far from generic.

Didn't the BTS trailer for Classics Prime also come with a few weapons? Were those designed with specific figures in mind, or were they more generic?

You know what I'm surprised we haven't gotten? A replacement thigh/pelvis assembly for Armada Megatron so that he can actually get some useful leg articulation. It would be simple as hell- all he needs is a few extra joints. A set that gives Tidal Wave useful knees would be nice too.

I don't have any experience with TFC's Gear of War sets, but if the chrome is causing grief with the assembly, couldn't you just sand down the chrome on the pegs? It might not be the prettiest solution, but it would work.
