There's something fundamentally wrong with the base code of seibertron.com right now.
Besides the health bar issue, there's also the fixed page width and button placement, for instance, the "go" button to run "Delete marked messages" does not show up because seibertron is set to fixed width.

I don't know about any other factions, but the Preds don't have a cheap strafer. I think the cheapest we have is 1,200XP. But I can't find which alt class it was

We have a lot of cheap strafers. Tanks have strafe for 1k/ram for 4k. Hunters have strafe for 1k avoid for 3k.

You're reversing it. Ram 1k, Avoid 3.5k. That's why I switched from a light to medium vehical. Predators have it ram 1k/avoid 3k which is the cheapest of the combo to get.

Repeating a old idea... Customizable weapons! I want to be able to tweak out my weapons! Modified sword blades, grips, stuff like that. Maybe a channel in it that can send poison or acid down the blade into the victim. Modified gun triggers to fire faster, modified barrel lengths for more damage or accuracy, modified stocks for more stability and accuracy or taking stocks off for easier movement. Different round types you can buy, like DU rounds (AP), flare rounds (giving the gun a stun effect)

different shells will be hell on the engine

but i like the idea of customizing your shells (ap/he/ht) for different kinds of armor.

as much as i want those things, i know they won't balance, the game would end up being about the weapon you have rather than the xp and the setup.

and i am HEARTILY opposed to anything having the stun affect added to it, it's too damn powerful as is.

but broken=awesome.

its not everpowered if ANYONE can do it.

when it comes to balance, i do not have a sense of humour;

if something is Broken then eventually everyone pretty much have to have it/do it/be it to survive, which is no fun, becuase instead of the bazillion different options for upgrading you character, you have 1.

back to the ancient point of the Battle Blades, they where a very powerful bit of kit, one of the few weapons that could beat brawling and second most powerful weapon in the game, thing was, they were 3frp/2skl, which meant that all the weapons past that where junk, i mean why on earth would you waste more points in those stats when you already had the best damage for XP weapon in the game, you'd be trading XP for lowering your damage output. if you didn't have the battle blades you were in for alot of hurt, you could brawl, but that was rather expensive in comparison, likewise the only weapon that could be considered better was the gatling gun, but at 10frp/3skl that was even more expensive.

and then we have Kremzeeks, they where originally added at a level to compete with the blades, and they where fun, they later where removed, and the weapons later balanced, however the kremzeeks where returened in there pre-balanced state, and so pawned everything, you even got xp for shooting your mates, and killing yourself.

and the minicons, being able to turn energon into 10tonnes of electrum at level 0 really divided the haves and have nots

and the nefarious bot modes, i enjoyed showing just how brokenly good they where, repair never pwned so bad.

i consider sommething broken if it renders another part of the game useless, or a waste of time, or even a hindrance. like trap altmodes, or avoid's xp payout. what's the point when everyone is running around with the same set up, and is totally out od character for there dudes?

They're only broken and unbalanced if there's not attempt to balance them. So really, that's all that needs to be done. It'd be a good balance to armor and endurance. Just like having skill add to melee damage would be a good way to make kung fu bots viable again.

Negative Ghostrider. The game drastically needs to be balanced. The difference between 0 and 1 and 1 and 2 is way to high, while at the backend, there's less difference between 8 and 9 and 9 and 10.

um...AZ hat to break it to you but;


10str + a 9stat weapon would do about the same as 10str unarmed

at present you need a weapon until you can get 4 str and then point for point Brawling smashes weapons for damage until you can get a 19 upgrades aportioned between STR, SKL, and FRP, then it's weapons all the way.

course if you basically made brawling act like a NR 0/0 weapon it would be fine

you could even add in a few Kung Fu moves as weapons with skill requirments;

Tammuz hits Absolute Zero with a chokehold, Absolute Zero hit's Tammuz with a flying kick, etc.

I thought that brawling was broken now and much weaker then weapons? My bad...

Honestly, I'd like to do away with the tactics entirely and get upgrades that you could buy; if you have the stat requirements. You could have a f*ckload more customization and variety in characters with that, instead of 4 or 8 tactics.

I like the tactics, i would keep them, but add little things, sorta an item slot so you could ahve miscleneous crap (mainly most of the gimmicks) like Target masters that rerolled misses, armour piercing ammo that treats armour as a rank below it, minicons that increase each attack's(ram, weapons, repair, etc) damages by a little, pretender shells that function as the inverse to AP ammo, maybe even something that turns weapon attacks into health and another that targets allies(pointless alone, xpaliscious together), maybe something to decrease CR time, or increase repairs carried out on you, maybe a target master that returns a small portion of damage received to the dealer...


basically a catch all system.


and Gobots where just as cool, even had positive female role models in Pathfinder and Crasher, both who showed no obvious female physical characteristics (which makes more sense than robo boobs), and of course gobots predate transformers. oh and Spyeye is so much creepier than any TF jet.

A repair gun, like in Orange Box/Team Fortress. Except you'd need more to get to it.

How about functions that the characters play out on the battlefield, or some way to set up their tendencies for fighting.

I know I'm old, others have told me, but I don't remember any of those. I just remember Turbo, Scooter, Leader-1, the motorbike guy, the helicopter guy, and the evil girl with them... forgot what she changed into. And yeah, Gobots were awesome. Gobot toys were superior to Minibot toys too.

I would. My girlfiend constantly goes "squig" or "squiggy" which is an upgrade from "meep" and "eep" and "weevil." Of course, she's a ballerina who can't walk a straight line unless she's in pointshoes... and falls off the bed once a week (atleast). When you're old enough to have a girlfriend, you'll discover that females are a curious beast where most of what they say is gibberish and their actions are hypocritical.

how about a "taunt" tactic based on endurance. basically "i dare you to hit me". if i could paint a bullseye on my avoiders or my end/str builds i would. either more chances to avoid or taking one for the team..
