Mine also involve masterpiece megatron. I had just got it in the mail BBTS and was very excited to open it. The first time transforming him his arm broke, i just looked at it not believing what had actually just happened. Breaks my heart everytime I think about it.

My worst Transformers experience you ask? It involves me losing my most prized belonging. And it was a Transformer. What I like to consider my first Transformer.

Yes, I bought many Transformers in my youth, but I was a very selfish and stupid youngster, and most of them were broken in to pieces and shoved in a bin upstairs. Flash forward to 06. I was visiting family in Bangladesh when I visited a toy store there. Most of what I saw were cheap Bionicle knock-offs. And then I saw a small section with Transformers: Cybertron toys. Childhood nostalgia erupted inside me, and I knew I had to buy one. I debated between the rhino(Backstop) and the hovercraft(Shortround). In the end, I got Shortround, which was much better then getting Backstop. I went to my family's estate, and transformed him, and played with him, and read his bio, and loved him. When I got back to the states, I bought two other Transformers. Brushguard and Hardtop. Brushguard's arm melted off and Hardtop's arm snapped from a high fall. But Shortround I kept safe and loved. Flash forward to 09. I was going on a trip to Dallas, and I packed several Transformers to bring with me, and naturally Shortround was one of them. But cruel fate conspired against us and separated us. While I went to my cousin's house, I left Shortround in my hotel room. I told my dad to pack him. But my dad is very forgetful. When I returned home, I realized Shortround was gone. To this day I hunt for another one. The only redeeming part of that trip is that I acquired Allspark Power Salvage from my cousin. But still, that was nothing compared to the loss of my best friend Transformer.

On another note, I brought ROTF Legends Springer with me to an outing with my mom. And then I left him next to car door when I opened it and slammed it shut. When I found him, the car door had sheared off most of his limbs beyond my 13-year old repair capabilities. So yeah, I haz sad Transformer things.

If we're talking about when I was a kid then it has to be taking Pipes and Tailgate with me on a school trip and then losing them on the coach. That was a killer.

Then again I remember having my first Beachcomber and throwing him on the roof of one of the huts. I wonder whether he is still there?! :BANG_HEAD:

Finally there was me getting Gen1 Jazz as an Xmas present. I snapped the roof/bonnet part off the first time I transformed him.

As an adult it has to be purchasing a brand new MISB Masterpiece Skywarp. I carefully opened the box and found that he was missing two fingers on one fist! I have to say that the place I bought it from tried everything to secure an alternative figure and having been unable to do that gave me a 50% refund on me keeping the figure. In the end I got a junker hand from a TRU Screamer and repainted the missing fingers. So it wasn't all bad news. ;)

Getting back into TFs as an adult and realizing that many of my G1 figures from childhood were lost or destroyed. It makes me sick to think I had Shockwave and Omega Supreme and stuff like that, and they're all gone now.

Well mine story has some good and bad in it, but like all kids you have to take your toys to school and show your friends right? wrong dont do it, cause they'll steal them when your not looking, thats what happened to me, when my best friend stole Constructicon Scavenger right out of my desk and i remember the teacher went through every desk at school to see who had it and she never did find it or where it was. So, instead of 7 constructicons, they were only 6, but on the good side of my grandma found out about it and brought me a new one and Devastator was complete again.

After seeing 2007 Transformers: The movie, that got me thinking about when i was a kid and had a butt load of Transformers my parents and grandparents bought me for birthdays Christman, etc, so i began the search at my parents house to see if they still had them or not. I proceeded out to their small storage shed or mini barn and began to look in these big barrels full of GI Joes and other stuff, and i found 3 G1 style Transformer cases full of G1 Transformers and another much bigger case as well. All i can say is that all 4 cases combined i found probably 20 or more Transformers and then still was finding more the deeper i dug. I found G1 Galvatron, Rodimus Prime Wreck-Gar and MINT Sixshot in the box with the price tag still on it and i cant belive he was $34.95 and my parent picked him at Elder-Beerman.

Too sum this story up for the second half is that i found these G1 Transformers cases full of G1 Transformers and still in average condition and on this cases i saw tape with prices on it where my mom was trying to sell them at a garage sale and for 1 case full of Transformers she only wanted $5.00 for it and now 25 years later i managed to find them and now their in my hands again and along with good memories as a kid.

Transformer till the end... :BOT: :CON:

Someone said "the BS politics of this site". I have to ask, could that be elaborated on. I read more than I post, so I dont have any bad experiences with this web site, but your comment intrigues me.

Same here. After returning TF collecting during the 2007 movie craze, I spent almost a month searching for my old box of toys. Turns out, my sister had donated it all to an orphanage when we had to moved out of our house for renovations, when I was in my early teens, and she thought I'd outgrown those toys long ago. Which was true, until the 2007 movie came out.

Well, at least it's for a good cause.

I have two things.

1. I used to go to my cousins' house when I lived in NY. They had a boatload of toys in their rooms. The youngest had Beast Machines Cheetor. I always asked if I could "borrow" stuff from them. Unfourtunately, I never asked about Cheetor #-o

2. Stupidly opening Animated Starscream in the front seat of my car. His hands were loose and one of them fell between the seats of the car. Never to be seen again. :-(

Mine would have to be trying to order Target Leo Prime, from Target online. Such a hassle! Here's what happened:

During my stay in the US, he was discounted 50% to $9.99, the perfect opporunity to get him. Got a regular Visa giftcard for paying online. Placed the order, but Target couldn't receive the payment. Turns out the card had to be registered online. Guess what: still didn't work. Even when they re-entered the card account number it didn't work! Fine, got a Target gift card instead, but too late: the price was restored to $19.99, at the end of my stay...

Fortunately, my father-in-law ordered him for me with the gift card and Leo Prime is now at my in-laws' house for me to pick up, waaaaaaaaaaaay later...
