Why Kill Jazz?

There's more "Bring Jazz Back" threads than "Bring Back, Blackout", "Bring Back Megatron", and "Bring Back Bonecrusher" threads.
Sure, he busted out some slick fighting moves and he looked wicked, but what makes him more important than the dead 'Cons?

Look at how many humans and Autobots it took to bring him down.

I expect Megatron to come back. He's been killed off just about as many times as Prime...or was it just reformatted?
Well, anyways...

I was just noticing that the other day when I was watching it. 3 Autobots and @least 3 or 4 humans. I may have to double check to see if any human raptors got a piece of him too. But man, he was a tough bird that wouldn't go down.

Not fair, and certainly badly handled in the film, but hey, that's life. And yes, of course they can bring him back if they want to. It's only fiction, after all.

But its something I've learned to deal with. The movie is awesome but it has plot holes you can drive a MAC truck through!

But very few (if any) people live through being split in half.
If they have gotten him immediate help they probably could have saved him, but they were in the middle of heated combat.
Jazz was thrown by Megatron and and I doubt that Ratchet had the cover or ability to get to him in time.
And if a Transformer loses their spark, they're gone.
But a lot of people think that the shard of the Allspark that Optimus took can bring his spark back.

Question.......why do females on here have crushes on Starscream? ANd I also notice that people think they don't have genders when they obviously do. Weird stuff....Damolisher wrote:It;'s not a case of taking anything too seriously, it's just the fact I'm getting sick of the sudden lack of cerebral activity I'm noticing in a LOT of Transformers fans lately. I'm getting quite frustrated, more than anything, to tell you the truth.
Now on the point of Jazz being black and all, I say he acts like it but hes not. Gosh I hate that the writers gave all that screen time to the humans and hardly any to the Transformers.

Well, people have crushes on fictional characters mostly because they are cool or have interesting personalities.
I hate G1 Starscream because he's a sleezeball and has an ugly voice. But I love Armada Starscream because he was handsome, had an amazing story and character developement, was powerful and cool, etc, etc.
Now as to Jazz being "black".
He's not black. Optimus even told Sam why he was talking like that.
Jazz: What's crackin' 'lil bitches?
Sam: Where'd he learn to talk like that?
Optimus: We've learned earth languages though the World Wide Web.
So he's not "black".
He's just parroting humans that he's heard.

What, you think losing your legs and being torn in two is the same?
Let's be serious, he was TORN IN TWO. If that happened to a human, dead. So why not apply a bit of human phsyology to the TF's so we can relate to them better?
People, look past your blind Jazz loving and see how it benefits the story, and the greater story. Jazz dies, someone else is introduced in future movies.
And there's no proof that his spark was in his chest. It could have been in his groin. Plus early scripts had Megatron devouring his spark so had that been left in it would have made so much more sense and we wouldn't have all these "Wah wah wah they shouldn't have killed Jazz" threads popping up every two weeks.

Not all females have crushes are Starscream, y'know...(No offense, Siren Prime, I'm not saying it's wrong to have a crush on Screamer, I just don't.
I have a crush on Jazz. >.> There, I said it. On the old Jazz more than the new, but, hey! It's Jazz!
And, as much as I hate Michael Bay for killing off Jazz, I can see the whole director's POV on killing Jazz, but he should have thought about the fan's reaction...it's a mini-1986 movie thing again. (Only this time, had Prime died, I think all of us on here would have grabbed our torches and pitchforks and gone to find Bay...) That's why I said mini...okay, more of a mini-mini movie thing, but still!
And, again, because it was brought up in here: Transformers. Have. Genders.
Okay, I'm done...
(Before anyone asks, I'm female.)

In the movie, he was the token black guy, and a lame one at that. Two strikes against him. Third strike: He barely did anything. He's better off dead.
It sucks I know. I would have loved to have a cool Jazz character, and I would be rallying for that guy to come back.
Took the words right out of my mouth!

where did Devastator is black come from?
Jazz died because Bay wanted Jazz to become a better car in TF2.
its not as bad a reason for killing autobots then, replace them with toys that were crappier than the ones built before them.

some people lose their legs and still live.
frenzy is just frickin weird.
but if you were shot at with missiles, had your body ripped in two and tossed off a building, would you live?

I'm perfectly happy with him dead, it illustrates how much of a bad-ass Megatron is.

So again to clarify, what has been done cannot be undone. I was simply trying to point out a potentially better way to handle the death of Jazz in the movie.
