Seeing Metroplex standing beside Fort Max, I have to say I like your version a whole lot better then the factory made one! Good Job!!

Dang, I didn't realize where you were going with the head. You did an amazing job all around! Of course now, Cybertron Metroplex looks like a heap of dog crap next to your Fort Max.

I don't have the Cyb. metroplex mold,though i always loved it.
If i did have it i'd take your Fortress Maximus as an example to kitbashing it.Holy smokes this thing is awesome.(would prolly look even better next to some Legends class figures)

I haven't gotten much more work done since I posted these images, as I've had a very busy week. I'm still working on the hand weapons and the torso guns. I will be doing more work on Saturday, and should have some new pics to post after the weekend.

I have to admit, now I want a metroplex for this custom. I didn't like the vvehicle mode nor the chosen name of metroplex for the toy, but this gives it new life, a chance at being a really cool custom. You're doing a great job.

That turned out really well! However posing him with his crotch sticking out makes him seem less mighty than Fort Max is.

The torso-cannons and Master-sword are complete. And I've added a visor over Max's eyes. I've started work on the track sections and also the double-laser.

Oh, my word, that's slightly good. I like the touch on the back of the head, simulating Cerebros' arms. And I assume the Master Sword is scratchbuilt? 'Cause that's a beautiful bit of workmanship.

So, do we get to see an alt-mode at all?

Looking good so far. You might want to redo the visor though. The two sides are not symetrical. The angle of the cuts on either side of the nose are radically different. One side follows the nose while the other side is cut at nearly a 45° angle. You might want to fix that or make a new one.

Actually, the Visor sides are very close to even. What you are seeing is the red "shadow" falling on his cheek as the light filters through it:

Lit from viewer's left, Lit from above, Lit from below, Lit from directly in front.

I will take some alt-mode pics a little later. However, the base mode will have to wait until I'm done with him. Gotta finish the tracks and the other add-ons.

Currently this if my fav bash on these boards,i simply love fort max,if i pick up a cyb metroplex some day,i'm definately going to try to build my own fort max,but i'll mostly be using parts from the undersized Fort Max KO that does well on ebay.

Damn man! The weapons and the head make this guy so freakin' awesome. He's so bad-ass he should see a proctologist. He'd be perfect if the head transformed. Yes, I remember why it doesn't, but still!
