Burn I don't know if it's a good idea, but I figured I'd put it out and let people poke holes in it... But would it be possible to maybe shorten the CR time (for SLed characters) for which ever side is the underdogs ('Bots currently)? Maybe if they could get back in action sooner it would help the imbalance?

I know it's more to do with play time than CR time, but it might be more helpful in the lower levels where the stasis lock/xp ratio is disproportionately high.

Short answer, no. That's hard coded in the game, not open to anyone but Ryan.

Long answer ... no. I don't feel that's a good idea as I've been finding myself outnumbered all week long. I don't dispute that the Autobots have it worse, but how many advantages can you give them?

The only thing I can suggest is increased energon/XP payouts, but that tends to only benefit the winners.

I get that.

What I was noticing this morning is the cycles. When I got up I was getting totally outnumbered by 'Bots. But by the time I posted, they must have cycled back into the cr because 'Cons were outnumbering the 'Bots.

Which persisted the rest of the day. Right now I had to skip missions, waiting for them to start so I could get new ones because there were too many 'Cons in them (mid levels)

It does have a lot to do with play time. Certain times are better. During the day for me is when there are more 'Cons.

I would think turning off missions would have a negative effect on the 'Cons. All the missions would be full and we couldn't play.

I believe deactivating some of the old missions is on Burn's to-do list.
And CF if missions fill up the game just generates more so no worries there.

The idea of deactivating some of the old missions is that it allows the new missions being cooked up (usually with better balance and payouts) more of a chance to spawn.
Right now there are so many possibilities that the new missions are getting lost in the shuffle &/or being choked out by the other older options.

I've only heard a bit of Burn's plan for the future of missions but it sounds good and once the older stuff is weeded out it will be a lot easier to quickly see which missions aren't working out as hoped and which need tweaked to hopefully make it a better experience for everyone.

Out of curiosity, are cr costs hard coded in? I wondered briefly if they got turned off if that would be a benefit.

It's not your job to help them though. I don't want to go around tweaking missions, I want to go through and replace them ALL. I need help writing them though.

We can use that link and work out where we need to do the level spreads though.

Come on man, I'm doing the **** best I can here. I have **** going on in my life, coming on HMW and working on fixing things is actually stress relief for me. I don't need this sort of stuff.

Wingz came on board to help and she's vanished. So any changes behind the scenes need to be done by me and me only. Psychout out and a few others are helping as best as they can and they have no idea how much I appreciate it. But cut me some **** slack. I may not be a nice person, but I will not take that sort of criticism from you or anyone.

Burn said something about writing up new missions. I haven't gone back to work on my idea partly due to figuring out details and making the time to seriously work on it. I am willing to toss my idea(s) in GD if anyone wants to collaborate.
