Good to see X-T is taking this project very serious. Taking the extra time to weed out all of the factory rejects parts. Brings more buyers confidence to this toy.

That's a lot of rejects!! :shock:

But yes, it does instill some confidence. My MP megatron came bran new out of package missing parts and had the crapiest paint job ever.

Thinking when some of those imports sites opened up the boxes. to install those orange safety caps. That some parts might have fallen out or been taken.

My MP-05 had loose hips and ankles joints. That made displaying the robot toy a loose mess. Don't know if every toy was like this or if I got a bad QC toy.

These being rejects seems kind of odd... I mean those are each a bunch of assembled components...so every single piece on all of those assemblies is a reject (from head to waist)?

By far the cheapest option for a Takara MP-13.

That's indeed a great price, unfortunately as I said I'm a bit wary of ordering from outside of the EU at this point.

I bought a Hasbro MP-10 off eBay last year and a Takara MP-10 from BigBadToystore and got taxed on both which ammounted to 210 EUROS combined for both figures, that's a whole new Masterpiece right there!

So I'm a bit worried to order from Hong Kong as the Belgian customs will probably screw me again and I'll up paying 50 euros or something on import.

Chimungung marks his stuff as gift so you don't have to pay customs!

Seriously, barely any other store even does that anymore, but I haven't payed customs on a single order with them.

I would assume the rejects go to a line where the reject parts are removed and replaced. it's just a way of moving perfect assemblies faster, as opposed to stopping, holding up the line to fix a problem, then continuing.

Think they did a great job with this pic. By showing that the toy can sit in a chair pose. Or showing the toy has great range of forward walking movenment in the legs.

I've been on the fence for so long (probably TOO long at this point) with this figure, I've finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered it from BBTS. Super excited for my FIRST third party figure! I think I'm making a good decision

It's gonna be nice to retire my MP-05, he's got a mean lean going on and can't be displayed without some sort of prop-up (as I'm sure you all know too well).

Never bought MP-05, I had G1 Megatron as a kid and it was a horrible toy in my opinion, so easy to break, etc. and I felt that MP-05 looked scarily a lot like G1 Meg so never got it. Figured it'd be a waste of money.

My MP-05 had a lean also due to the over sized canon on the arm. The MP-05 toy I got always have loose joints in the legs and ankles.

Retired my MP-05 toy years ago. Put the toy back inside the box. As I had fears the fragile built toy would never pass the drop test. If it accidentally fell off my Five tier book shelf. The Rust on the feet and back bone was another reason I removed the toy from the self. Didn't want it to rust anymore than it already did.

Think Takara should have painted over the MP-05 Diecast parts. Maybe with a color like Silver or Grey. Or perhaps used a clear coat on the diecast parts to prevent rust from happening.

I sure hope they are. At first, I was thinking of getting ReproLabels with a white border so I could pick one that would look nice next to MP-10. But, I think I will go with a slightly larger one with a clear border.
