I didn't preorder pretty much until a couple weeks before release. So by then virtually EVERYONE was sold out, otherwise I'd have totally gone with Chimung.william-james88 wrote:But I thought you went the chimungmung route, which I did based on your recommendation (very thankful for, it had the best deal around). What made you chose BBTS this time? And congrats on that pyramid figure too, it looks awesome!

You go find that postal worker and get your Apollyon!!leakin' lubricant wrote:Ahhhggg missed the postie! Tomorrow it is then.
He really is awesome. I'm glad I was able to get him!!Autobot032 wrote:So, yeah, this is Masterpiece Megatron. This is how he should've been made from the get go. The materials need to be a bit stronger in places, but the design is a real winner. I wasn't impressed at first, had some serious issues, but once I figured them out, I love it.

Did you get the shoulder fix? Have you replaced the shoulder yet? *Ags is watching the QC on these before becoming tempted*
I only replaced the fusion cannon arm shoulder piece. They are SUPER stiff on mine, I usually have to rotate the arm counterclockwise at the shoulder to "break it free" if you will and then can move clockwise (due to the hinge on the robot side of the shoulder joint). My biggest issue is still that flappy part on the right leg (you can see the images on page 31 of the thread). I think the paint turned out pretty good on mine!Autobot Genocide wrote:Yeah there in with the instructions aggy im gonna try switch them now theres is also another little black piece with them not sure what thats for thoughAgamemnon wrote:Did you get the shoulder fix? Heck yeah! It took me a few attempts as I didn't want to use "too much" force. Pretty sure I can't get them off now without unscrewing them from the arm firstAutobot Genocide wrote:FFS now there too tightitscramtastic wrote:I only replaced the fusion cannon arm shoulder piece. yeah they keep dislodging the shoulder attactched to the chest, it was scary poppin those arms in mind , might swap the left one back .I actually didn't attach it well enough to the cannon arm first (the pins are bigger than the originals) and I didn't want to screw too tightly. Learned my lesson, passed on the left arm
Definitely glad they came with him though. Would've been very sad (like I was with MP-05) after the novelty wore off.Autobot Genocide wrote:Sh*t myself at first i didnt tighten the screws enough and the damn thing slipped round and yeah not sure those are coming off againitscramtastic wrote:Heck yeah! I was using a microfiber cloth and a set of pliers and I couldn't remove the joint on the cannon arm and had to re-assemble as best I could with it awkwardly positioned and a better screwdriver. I think that was where I failed, using the included screwdriver and being lazyAutobot Genocide wrote:I strongly advise not to try and pop the arm off with the new shoulders in , i was almost in tears tryingitscramtastic wrote:Definitely glad they came with him though. i took the screws out first and your right Cram they dont sit perfect as the arm came off as soon as the first section was taken out .
i would suggest to anyone whos left arm doesnt flop just leave it alone its not worth the hassel
