Congrats Leaky, he looks pretty cool, even with his lil mini skirt!
Should one want to, can his fusion cannon be mounted on the other arm?
It will be nice to see some classic movie shots of him, such as being carried by Soundwave with his cannon being carried by Frumble!

he's a great figure, go easy on that first transformation though, it's easy to get parts overlapping each other in the wrong order, I also advise turning the head backwards for transformation, it's much easier to get out afterwards if you do, personal preference this one but I prefer the upgraded ball sockets, they're very tight so sand down the ball joint before swapping them out.

Both sides of his chest has a 'swing door.' the right side is for that asteroid piece... but the left has little star/crystal/spark type thing in there.
Not as cool as the Matrix or anything... but if that's not supposed to be a spark chamber, I don't know what it is.....

Sorry for being picky but isn't this "not Megatron" borrowing heavily from the cartoon design? Especially his face? A "certain someone" hereabouts who said to have ordered this doesn't like the cartoon based face design of CW Megatron but loves this fig despite the quality issues.......it's confusing me.

Those are the extensions the X-T Apollyon toy came packaged with.
Don't have any 1984 Megatron toys. So don't know if the original extensions are compatible with the X-T toy. Guessing not, as the original toy was smaller.

I didn't know that, I'd always assumed that he just picked up some random bots melee weapon. Damn I love Megatron!

I thought the laser sword was picked up after Prime hit him into the wall and a bunch of stuff fell (including Megatron's fusion canon)? Also, I need to find my MP-05 sword and see if it fits (since it has a painted hilt). Snapped this pic last night just to see the differences between some of them

I used to think that it was random but in wombatking, I read that the dagger came from a compartment in his foot (of course a lot of things got cut off the 1986 Movie)but goes to show how what an underhanded bad@ss Megatron was, even before IDW. It's just like what Harry Calahan wore in Scorpio. He hid a switchblade near his ankles.
That feature was not implemented in MP-05. Just thought X-transbot wanted to go the distance with him.
