Very nice sir! I've heard of some people painting his face a lighter gray, I don't think I've seen any images though. That with your brighter red eyes may be something I'll try. Maybe. Probably not LOLleakin' lubricant wrote:Got around to painting the eyes a slightly brighter red.image by Danny Campbell, on Flickr
It makes a huge difference, adds a little more life to him I feel.

Donny I used a Craftsman screwdriver (the ones you can place the bits in) to pop out the one from the metal barrel and used the same one for the silencer piece. The trick on the silencer is pressing on the exposed orange plug sections in between the silencer sections before attempting removal. You'll press and hear creaking/crackling from the glue breaking away and then a quick pop of the driver will release the plug.donny1975 wrote:Nice! everyone is sigiling him up... I am waiting for the reprolabels set to come out the make a decision on just badges or whatever they come up with.
Also not sure if I am gonna remove the orange plugs mine are pratically welded on...and I don't want to damage him. Where is that darned tutorial?

I'm in the U.S., and I think from ordering to arrival (with the $3 shipping) was 10 days (including weekends). The "From" address was upstate New York, not sure if that helps you any!guarayakha wrote:Speaking of Reprolabels/Toyhax, how long does it usually take for them to arrive from the moment they send the "shipped" notice? I ordered a bunch with the default $3 shipping, and not in the US, BTW.

Here's the driver I used, using a flat end to help push the exposed plastic away from the interior of the silencer. Remove the bit from the end and it fits very nicely in both the actual barrel (on Apollyon's back) and you can use one of the socket bits to create more surface area to pop the plug out of the silencer.donny1975 wrote:Thanks! Yeah I watched T2RX6'S quick vid on it and he did something similar...probably give it a try this week. My eye is on Warbotron for now my replacement parts should be here tomorrow so got to get that out of my system first!itscramtastic wrote:Donny I used a Craftsman screwdriver (the ones you can place the bits in) to pop out the one from the metal barrel and used the same one for the silencer piece. Because it is goi g snail mail it can take a while and of course it still has to be sorted through customs and if you not in the US itncould take upwards of 3 weeks or so...then factor in how busy the post system is at any given point too...
First time I ordered from them it took 3 weeks and I am in the northeast US but it was also around the christmas holiday so...
Be patient if anything happens (or doesn't) they have great customer service and will dispatch another set to you if need be, free of charge after you contact them.

Great imagesbut despite Megs being bad@ss and all, iirc it was old Grimlock who cleaned his clock
in the show.
Btw, what was Grimlock doing on the back side anyway?

The scene is loosely based on the Ancient Relics UK Marvel issue where Megatron owns Grimlock.
