Something in your post seems off though... You don't get a bonus from locking a higher level character. The only bonus you get is overkill bonus, which is just how much XP you got for how evermuch damage you did on the hit. If they had 1% life left, and your hit did 30% damage, you still get credit for the 29% overkill, you don't get extra XP for KOing someone of a higher level. o.O
Eh what I meant for bonus damage is not the overkill damage. I mean hitting an opponent for X damage opposed to Y because you decided to move 3 points from strength and put it into intelligence. Bonus was a poor choice of words.
Ah, I see. Confused the crap out of me there.

As for your question about doing it in open office, I honestly don't know since I coded a majority of my code in VB with a few pieces of other code strung together so I could pull from the web page and then drop it into a "dump file" to be parsed.
Damn. I don't know enough of how different the code for Open Office is vs Excel.
