Seibertron.com member dragons has posted some info regarding new images from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. The images show the actors at different points of the film with Megan Fox being a focal point. One of the images shows John Turturro with the Shia LaBeouf and Fox at what appears to be the United States Air Forces infamous "Boneyard" with Shia appearing to be talking to a Transformer. This could be the scene in which we are introduced to Jetfire.

Thanks to Griffin of the
OTCA Boards, for his write up of two Australian meetups with Transformers Animated Designer Eric Seibenaler, comes plenty of information regarding the Transformers Animated toys, past present and future.
The two meetings (held in Melbourne and Sydney) took place after Eric participated in an Australian Animated competition. He took time out from his busy schedule to talk Transformers with Australian Fans.
Some of the tidbits of information Eric divulged to the Aussie fans included:
- Eric designed all the Transformers Animated figures, not just Oilslick. His first figure was Armada Laserbeak, who Eric was re-united with thanks to Griffin.
- Eric is working on two size classes of figures for the upcoming Movie line.
- A New Animated Bumblebee figure is on it's way, it will be smaller and include an extra weapon of sorts
- A New Bulkhead repaint is also on it's way, and like Atomic Lugnut (which Eric named) it will be a repaint that retains the Bulkhead name.
- Oil Slick was meant to contain slime or Water in his helmet and second weapon, but due to safety concerns, it was nixed.
- New Deluxe Animated Arcee will not be entirely Pink
- The UK version of
Animated Sideswipe was created without the knowledge or approval of Hasbro, and when found out, they were made to change the name.
For further details about the meetups, and more tidbits of information and photos of Eric doing his thing, please check out Griffin's thread at
OTCA.

Seibertron.com member Ultra Primal has just informed us that the fellow Transfans and podcasters over at
Moonbase 2 have reported some interesting information.
According the podcast, Transformers original voice actor Frank Welker has received a package, via the United States Postal Service directly from Paramount Pictures.
What could this mean? Could it mean that Transfans voices have been heard and we will see the return of a TF legend?
Click
here to here the podcast for yourself and let the speculation continue.

Seibertron.com member Real One has reported seeing Transformers Animated figures at Walmart in Nevada. This is what Real One had to say:
I went to Walmart (Nevada) this morning and found a bunch of Animated TFs. I got Bulkhead and Bumblebee. I also found some at another Walmart and bought the only Grimlock.
If this is true, then this is the first report of seeing TF Animated figures at retail outside of the Ohio state area in the United States.
If any of you fellow Seibertronians have reports of seeing TF Animated figures in your area, please report it here and in the appropriate state Sightings Thread.
UPDATE!!!!! Picture Proof.

It seems that Hasbro is going on a Trademark application binge, with over a dozen new Transformers related trademark applications being submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
There are a few nice surprises in the list:
Autobot Camshaft
Autobot Wheelie
Autobot Blades
Autobot Cosmos
Decepticon Bludgeon
Decepticon Heavy Load
Scrapper
Mudflap
Brawn
Oilslick
Mixmaster
Blitzwing
Lugnut
Warpath
It is not yet known for what series, figures, these names will be used in, or if each name will only be used in one series at a time, but what is known is that should these applications been granted, it means good things for Transformers fans!
To check out the original post that found these applications, please

Brothers re-united again. Prime and Magnus, back on the small screen together, but in a seeming reversal of roles. Optimus is the younger unsure, hesitant leader, and Ultra Magnus, the older, and wiser leader.
Entertainment News International brings us the first, very up close picture of the former City Commander's noggin.
Enjoy the teaser of this more mature version of this ever reluctant character.

Denyer has brought us what could be some interesting news. A poster by the name of Steve White has posted some curious information at
Transfans.net. According to Steve White Titan Books will begin publishing a Transformers comic in the United Kingdom. Here is what Steve White posted:
: |
Hi there. My name is Steve White. I'm going to be editing the new TF comic in the UK, due out from Titan in July to coincide with the movie release. We're working pretty far ahead and what I was hoping for was readers letters/artwork that we can run in the first couple of issues, which will be wrapped before the first one actually hits the streets. Any help gratefully received. Email me at steve.white@titanemail.com |
: |
The comic will be mostly movie continuity, serialising the IDW prequel material. However, we will be originating our 10-page strips, written by Si Furman. We have various artists lined up; first issue should see the return of Geoff Senior whose keen to have a go for old time's sake. That's TBC but looks pretty solid. |
These seems to have some legitimacy since the poster uses the domain Titan Books uses for contact.
