smallblueplanet has placed the option to order Energon Megatron from their
site. Note that the description says that Megatron´s alternate mode is that of a Gunship! The picture that should go along with the add has been taken down.

According to Hasbro´s Transformers´ lead designer, if (and when) Energon Megatron is repainted, the colors will be accurate to G1 Galvatron´s movie colors. And yes, the name will be changed to Galvatron.

SPOILER WARNING!!! New episodes of Armada start in the US early next month, but it seems copies of the Japanese Micron Legend series have leaked out to certain fans.
What follows my ruin the end of Armada, if accurate. So read at your own risk:
Starscream/Thundercracker will go offline as a direct result of an attack from The Chaos Bringer, Unicron. The Powerlinx are upgrades in the same fashion as the RiD Autobot Brothers. They´re not permanent. Even with the combined might of the Autobots and The Decepticons, Unicron´s ultimate downfall will be brought about through the actions of Rad, Carlos, and Alexis. They distract Unicron long enough to allow Galvatron and Optimus Prime the opening they need. After Unicron is defeated, Galvatron turns on Optimus. Of course, Op opens up a can of whoop ass on Galvatron. It should be noted that the animation in this episode is said to be different from the style used in earlier episodes.

Hello readers, and thanks for once again checking out Seibertron.com´s Rumor Page! Today we have a whole batch of new rumors, and some confirmation on some old ones! So, I won´t keep you waiting, read on!
The "Black Unicron" rumor is true. Sort of. The planet mode is a very dark gray color, but the robot mode is purple and red. The Dead End mini-con has been repainted light gray and green.
Energon Jetfire is once again something resembling a US Space Shuttle. This time the figure´s primary colors are Maroon and White. It combines with Energon Ironhide.
The Rumors Page has finally seen a picture of Energon Megatron, and it answers a lot of questions. We´d heard reports of a very G1-esque Galvatron figure, but nothing about a Galvatron for the series itself. Turns out the rumors were largely true. however, Hasbro(for reasons that are beyond even the Rumor Page´s comprehension) decided to name it Megatron. Appearance wise, it looks like a very faithful hybrid of Galvatron´s toy and Animation model. Purple and Gray are the primary colors used on it.
The four limbs that attach to Energon Optimus Prime can be stored in an included trailer. The trailer can then be transformed into a tower with a helicopter landing pad. You´re in for a potentially devastating let-down if you expect much from this accessory though...
That´s it for now guys, but the rumors seem to be flowing like water again, so look for another update in the extremely near future!

For those who don´t know, Transtech was supposed to be a followup to Beast Machines. The series would have continued along the Beast/Vehicle/Robot theme. However, the idea was scrapped, and replaced with Armada (and RiD as a filler). So there, you´re all caught up. For years, we´ve been told that the line was cancelled before any prototypes were even made. With no evidence to the contrary, this generally believed by the fandom at large. But now, we have reason to believe that at least some of the figures made it to the prototype stages. The
Energon Pub members are sure to have plenty to say about this, why not check it out?

The Smooth One is prohibited from displaying pictures of the combined form of Energon Optimus Prime. He´s free to describe the figure though, so read on!
The torso and head of this figure resemble God Ginrai. It has a white chest with 2 windows and a grill. The head has a mouth molded into the faceplate (like Optimus Primal) and has several tubes on its head that make it look like Optimus went out and got a perm.
The body parts are multi-colored and are a blue jet-like machine for the right arm, a yellow drill for the right arm and hand, an orange firetruck for the right leg*, and a white lion for the left leg (which makes it look even MORE Voltron-like.
Believe it or not, all of these different devices come together to make one very well proportioned robot. It looks to be one of the more posable figures we´ve seen in recent years.
The
Energon Pub would be a perfect place to discuss this figure and get more information on its upcoming release.
*Note to Hasbro: STOP WITH THE MULTI-COLORED FIRETRUCKS!!!

I´ve recieved word that then next series of TRU exclusive Hasbro Reissues will be Grapple and Smokescreen. The date for their release is rumored to be sometime in November. As with everything else on this page, this is just a rumor and will maintain "Rumor Status" until you see it on the main page.

Actually, there are a LOT of familiar G1 names in Energon; Optimus Prime, Jetfire, Megatron, Galvatron, Scorponok, and the list goes on. However, this will be the return of a name made famous in Transformers: The Movie. A name that´s been voiced by such actors as Hiroya Ishimaru, Judd Nelson, Richard Gautier, and
Ted Schwartz. A name who´s owner assumed the role of leader when the Autobots needed one most. The name in question: Rodimus Prime. By eye-witness accounts, the character will still look very much like his G1 counterpart, but will be a combiner like most of the Energon Autobots.

Also any two can combine to form a larger robot, a la Armada Sideways´ Minicons, but each component can form either the top or bottom. Also, all six can combine to form Landcross. Today, the Rumor Page will spotlight some very interesting rumors centering around Dreamwave and their upcoming projects.
As previously reported here on the Rumor Page, some Japanese TF Characters have an excellent chance of appearing in the ongoing Generation 1 comic. Characters like Overlord have been discussed.
There´s another TF comic in the works that nobody outside of Dreamwave knows about. There´s no furthur hard info, but speculation is that it would involve the Alternators (but that´s not likely).
Dreamwave may help with the designs for the upcoming (possible for 2005) live action Transformers movie. Will Prime have those white outlines around his windshields in the movie? We´ll have to wait and see...
2004 will have a Beast Wars mini-series. Brad Mick will help with the storyline but will probably not actually write for the series. No word yet on if they´ll use the Cartoon or the Toys as the basis for the artword. (Note to Dreamwave: use the Cartoon!)
Fact? Hopefully. Fiction? Possibly. Interesting? Definately!
