At the end of January we reported
here that Toys "R" Us exclusive Commemorative G1 Soundwave would be released in Canada in March. Now we are sorry to report that that has since changed. Now both Paradigm-Shift Prime and RHansen of
Cybertron.ca have reported that the release date has changed in Toys "R" Us computers. The shipping date has changed to mid April which means the figure should be Toys "R" Us on shelves by May.

Dirgeimus Prime has recieved a e-mail form
JRS Toyworld stating that ALL of their MP-05 Megatron preorders have been cancled. They also make mention of the same thing Ryan heard at Toyfair, that there will be a "US Safe" version which we reporterd as a rumor
here. And just to note it is still a rumor at this point.
Here is the e-mail he recieved.
'Hello,
I'm sorry to say that I've cancelled your preorder for Masterpiece Megatron.
Below is a copy of what my vendor sent to me regarding recent news on the
figure:
"Hi Bill,
I am afraid the decision has been made that in order to comply with US Federal
Law all US-bound shipments of Megatron will have the plugs installed. Even
though he will be in robot mode, we have learned there will likely be pics of
him in gun mode on the box, which could cause problems at customs resulting
in a shipment being impounded if there is not a plug. Also, Takara has
apparently decided to do a "US safe" release through Hasbro. This could well
mean that they and/or Hasbro will alert US Customs to be on the lookout for
"counterfeit" merchandise.
So, sorry to say it, but all Megatrons to the US will get plugs. Boxes will not
be in "unopened" condition."
I think its better to cut my losses now and not even attempt to import the
figure due to the potential problems.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
Regards,
Bill Egerstaffer

Our own Seibertron was able to take pictures of
Transformers Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime at Toy Fair 2007. You can check out those images in the
SEIBERTRON.com Events Section. However, we have yet to see the back of the packaging for Leader Class Optimus Prime. That is no longer the case. Beast_wars of
Actoys.net has posted in package images of Optimus Prime that shows both the front and back of the box.
That's not all! It looks like Target will have yet another exclusive. It is a four pack featuring Cybertron Legends Optimus Prime and Megatron along with
Transformers Movie Legends Optimus Prime and Megatron. Images of the set in package
have have been posted by Beast_wars as well.
Check out all the images by clicking
here.

One of the perks about living in New York is having access to one of the coolest toy stores in the world, Toys "R" Us, located right in the heart of Times Square. Our own Seibertron had the chance to visit this awesome store and he has been kind enough to share pictures. The store features a ferris wheel right in the middle of the store with beautiful toy displays of everything from Legos, G.I. Joe, Wii, the Transformers, and many other major toy brands. If you're a fan of Toy "R" Us, then you have to make sure you stop by this store the next time you're in New York City. Check out 127 images of Toys "R" Us in Times Square by going to the
SEIBERTRON.com Events Section.

We reported
here last week that the Target exclusive Transformers Classics Battle for Autobot City Ultra Magnus Vs. Skywarp 2-Pack had been released in some places. However, some people could not find the set and there were some reports that some stores put the set out then realized they made a mistake and took it off the shelves. We fans who have had a hard time trying to find the set should not have a problem much longer. According to Hasbro's official Transformers website,
Transformers.com, the Ultra Magnus Vs. Skywarp 2-Pack has now been officially released.
