Beginning on Easter Day will be an eBay listing to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Transformers.
I am Bagging and Boarding 30 copies of the Convention Variant cover of Transformers Regeneration One #100. Each of the backing boards will have a sketch on the back. The 30 issues will be divided into 6 releases of five. There will be five sketches of Optimus Prime. Five sketches of Megatron - ya get the idea- then Ultra Magnus, Galvatron. Rodimus Prime and Bludgeon. The Optimus Prime sketches begin on Easter Day at 8pm UK time and runs for seven days.
The idea behind this is to not only commemorate the 30th anniversary but to enable those who can't get to UK conventions that I am attending to be able to get a copy of the comic and a sketch. Those of you who have seen me at conventions know that I do sketches but there are, needless to say, many Transformers and comic conventions that I won't be at. Below are the five Optimus Prime sketches that constitute this release. It's pot luck as to which bidder will get which sketch but that's part of the fun.
As you will see below I have decided to donate all the proceeds from the fifth winning bidder to the Make-A-Wish foundation. this is my favourite charity and the one that we support as Draw The World Together. Anyone not familiar with the activities of DtWT click the link and take a look. We don’t have a lot of time or facility to do much with DtWT these days so it is nice to be able to raise a bit of money for the charity.
So. set your alarm for the start of the bid and cross your fingers.

Up for sale here is a loose original ONE-OF-A-KIND Hasbro/ Takara Transformers Generation One (Gen One G1) Deluxe PROTOTYPE proto Lamborghini with its' original COA; it reminds me of what would later become the Alternators line. While some of the parts may look familiar like the Superion head or Optimus Prime's legs this was made by a Hasbro/ Takara designer, purchased by another company, & sold to me. This is the opening paragraph from the COA (Certificate Of Authenticity): "This is, for lack of a bettter term, a "kit bashed" 1/24 scale Die Cast Lamborghini. However, it was "kit bashed" by TAKARA as a sample for Hasbro. This was a presentation prototype for a line that Takara proposed for High end ultra collectible Transformers in 1988. The line was never made. It does not transform and is a static model. Please do not email me and tell me that anyone could make this in his basement. I realize that, however this one is a real Prototype made by Takara acquired by us from a former Hasbro designer." This has never been out of my care or really ever seen the light of day since I bought it; it was on a shelf & then in storage for more than a decade. There's is some minor bit of dust on it, but it is otherwise in very near mint shape. He is loose w/ no packaging or instructions; also, please note that there are no guns or missiles included either. That is because they were never ever made. There is a mint COA in protective sleeve though. Is it Autobot (most likely) or Decepticon (perhaps a spy)? You can decide. This has been one of the stars of my collection (having picked it up 14 years ago). I really wanted to keep this totally unique & rare item but alas, my life has taken several turns (currently unemployed) & I unfortunately need to sell some of my stuff; plus, it helps lighten the load for an eventual move. The environment has been smoke free, but I do own pets. I'll be honest, this one won't come cheap as it is most likely one of the ONLY ONES EVER MADE! I have never ever seen another 1 like it!

I'll be a guest at Emerald City Comicon, March 28-30, at the Washington State Convention Center.
You can find me at table U-04, where I'll be selling prints, sketchbooks, original artwork, and taking commissions. Commissions are first come first serve, each day of the con.
I will have with me 3 new Transformers prints - Seekers Wave 2 - the "Coneheads"! Here is a tease of Ramjet, Dirge, and Thrust...
Additionally, I have a piece published in this years' annual ECCC Monsters & Dames book, and I've donated the original piece to the charity auction being held Saturday, March 29th at 8:00, in Hall D. Proceeds from these items go to benefit Seattle Children's Hospital.
While the piece in the book is in color, the original up for auction is black and white. 11"x17", pencils and inks, on bristol board.
