The official
Transformers Collectors' Club has updated their homepage. The following message has been posted.
"From the far reaches of space comes a deadly new foe on the side of evil. Loyal to no one but himself, this insidious bounty hunter has joined the Decepticons to further his own power. Armed with a vast array of weaponry including his powerful Ionic Pulse Blaster, he and his loyal following tear through space as he transports Decepticons and Mini-Cons on their galactic hunt for the mythical Cyber Planet Keys. As a force to be reckoned with, no Autobot is safe as long as this Decepticon warrior is loose!
Featuring a stunning new head sculpt from original designs by Dan Khanna, Hasbro's Transformers Collectors' Club is proud to present the first club exclusive figure reborn from a Hasbro design that never came to fruition. This fall, make Astrotrain part of your Decepticon army, only from the Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club!
Pictured here is Hasbro's original design concept along with sketches of the new head. Watch transformersclub.com for updates this summer on the new deco and ordering information. Pricing has not been determined at this time".

We have received an email, that went out to all club members, from Brian of the Transformers Collectors Club. He has provided an update that applies mainly to non-US member of the Collectors Club. The update addresses the issue reguarding international shipping. This is what the email said:
"We have found another way to ship some product
to our non-US customers at a lower cost and it has been implemented into the store. It is called Global Priority Mail. This service does have some limitations. The shipment must fit into a box that is no more than 36 inches by adding length+girth+height. Also, the order cannot be over 4 lbs.
For example a 1 lb package to the United Kingdom via surface mail is $24.25 and takes 4-6 weeks.
The same package via airmail is $16.75 and takes 7-10 days.
The same package via Global Priority is $10.50 and takes 4-6 days.
I know, it doesn't seem to make much sense but that's the USPS rates and delivry standards.
We hope that this lowers some of the foreign shipments costs. It won't work for all orders as the items are tool large or the order will be 100 heavy. We think it will work for the bulk of your orders.
Make sure you check the store each week at transformersclub.com/shop to see what the new items in stock an the weekly specials!
Thanks for your support,
Brian"
UPDATE: The following update has been sent out correcting some of the infomation given above:
Hello!
Please note that in my last email I had a typo. The dimensions that limit this type of foreign mail is length + width(not girth) + height. This must be 36 inches or less. About 70-80 percent of the products will fit into this area, but not all of them.
Thanks for your support and don't forget to check each week to see what our specials are. transformersclub.com/shop

The
Transformers Collectors' Club has released figure info about the upcoming second exclusive figure: Landquake. Landquake is a repaint of Energon Blight/Kickback, but doesn't sport any remolded parts like Master Collector said in 2005 that future figures would have. You can view the info from
here.
You can view pictures of last year's Transformers Collectors' Club exclusive figure,
SKYFALL, in the

Hasbro has unveiled the bonus item they promised to release with Primus at the
Transformers Collectors Club Members Site. Here is a quote from the site:
"The latest news on Cybertron Primus is that the figure will be available this summer to all stores. You will be able to change him from robot-mode to battle station-mode to planet-mode, and unlock cool features with the Cyber Planet Key. In addition, the INITIAL quantities released in the US will include a bonus 3-inch battle-damaged Unicron head!"
For those of you who are not members of the club here is a description of the battle-damaged Unicron head provided by Professor Coldheart of
TFW2005:
The head looks like the orange Armada Unicron with the right half of the face blown off to reveal a skelatal face. The horns on his head are busted up and he has wires, almost tentacle-like, coming from the neck area that will act as a base.
Out of respect for the wishes of Members only section of the Transformers Collectors Club we will not post images up until they are widely availiable. Please do not post these images of links to these images. If we get the ok from the club to post such images then we will post them.
