This is just super dorky, and unlike Transformers and GI Joe crossovers this really cool. I'm not super into ghost busters, but I may purchase him. They made this work really well.

The Ecto-1 looks great though. Just not into the bot.

I see what everyone is seeing to make one think it could be. Shapes, and transformation. But, I don't think it is.
Maybe more of a case of "shared engineering"? It's hard to say.

I'd like it, but not if it's some sort of US exclusive that must be imported at high cost.

Wow, I cannot escape buying this mould 4 times can I?
If it isn't an extreme retool, it definitely shares engineering.

Also, the "Transformers Collaborative" signature means we can expect more crossovers?
I'd love a Back To The Future Transformer if that's true

Plenty of possibilities, but sadly, little chance of a Gundam crossover

There are worse molds. Like... Most of them. Most of the moulds are worse. I have this mould six-times.

HASBRO REVEALS TRANSFORMERS-GHOSTBUSTERS ECTO-1
COLLABORATIVE FIGURE AND IDW COMIC SERIES
'More than Meets the Eye' Collides with 'Who You Gonna Call?' for Transformers & Ghostbusters™ 35th Anniversaries
PAWTUCKET, RI – Feb. 15, 2019 – Autobots, Decepticons and ghosts?! Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS) and Sony Pictures Consumer Products today revealed the first-ever TRANSFORMERS-Ghostbusters Collaborative figure, the ECTO-1 ECTOTRON, available at GameStop summer of 2019 and for pre-order starting February 15 at HasbroPulse.com, GameStop and EB Games Canada. This year marks the 35th anniversary of both the TRANSFORMERS brand & the original Ghostbusters film.
When fans of the iconic Ecto-1 from the 1984 Ghostbusters movie look a little closer at this nostalgic interpretation of the car, they will be treated with a new "robot in disguise" named ECTOTRON, a converting Paranormal Investigator. The figure is packed in a G1-inspired box featuring classic tech specs and comes with its own proton pack and Slimer accessory, and converts between two modes in 22 steps – a seven inch Ecto-1 vehicle and a TRANSFORMERS robot.
TRANSFORMERS robots have always been more than meets the eye, but now, through the TRANSFORMERS Collaborative, fans can experience these larger than life characters as they team-up, mash-up and meet up with other characters, teams and people. It is a world of constant change where things are not what they seem. A combined world of TRANSFORMERS and Ghostbusters where heroic Autobots, evil Decepticons and now ghosts can be discovered!
The Ghostbusters have a new, out of this world teammate and fans will be able to meet the all new TRANSFORMERS character ECTOTRON in his epic origin story by IDW Publishing. A brand new 5-part series from creative team Erik Burnham & Dan Schoening begins in June 2019.
The ECTO-1 ECTOTRON figure is available at GameStop starting Summer of 2019 and for pre-order starting February 15 at HasbroPulse.com, GameStop and EB Games Canada. And be on the lookout for other possible TRANSFORMERS and Ghostbusters items. When these two iconic franchises come together – anything is possible!

And most of the transforming Gundams suck in their alt mode, and the ones that don't are either expensive or rare.
I tried looking for peace in Macross buuuuut... yeah, I'm not paying 200$ for that.
Oh well, that's partly why I stick to Transformers anyway. They give me what I want and like for a much more affordable and modest price

For me, the number one priority would be the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile!!!
Edit: I'd also pull the General Lee off the list. No way in hell Hasbro is touching that in today's political climate.

Also sadly we'll never get gundam x Transformers as that means Bandai would have to play nice with Takara.

Yeah, I'd buy that for sure. The Ghostbusters figure is neat and looks great in alt mode, but not something I'm interested in. I do think it's cool that it exist though.
I just saw that the official reveal is marking it as a shared anniversary, but I wonder if this is also related to some type of cross promotion for some new GB media that we haven't heard about yet.

I need a cowbell that... turns into... Christopher Walken.
I'm not joking, if they make that I'd buy like twenty of them... Also he should have a slot to hold a Matrix. I need a Walken Prime.
