In package vehicle pics of e-Hobby United 3 packs

Posted by TCracker Apr 1, 2011 at 5:54pm CDT 36,230 views
HK-TF board member dadedum had shared pics of the United e-Hobby 3 pack featuring clear Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge from the Decepticon side and Rodimus, Kup and Scrapheap from the Autobot side.

Overall it looks great and a welcome addition to anyone who wants to re-enact their respective metamorphosis scenes. (With the exception of Kup and Scrapheap of course)

This is a taste of what to come and it is looking mighty impressive.

I can't wait to see their robot modes. Packaging looks great. Also wondering if Scourge is blue or purplish? In one of the pics above, he looks blue, but in the 2nd one he looks purple. Scrapheap robot mode would be great also. :D

Forgive my ignorance but what is the significance of the see through plastic on these? I have seen pics of them for a couple weeks now and was wondering if that clear plastic is an homage or commemoration or something.

I think it's a homage to when, in the 1986 movie, cyclonus, galvatron and scourge receive their new forms from unicron and when hot rod becomes Rodimus prime, thus the clear plastic emulating their transformation phase....Don't quote but I remember seeing that somewhere when these first got teased. Those sets carried a hefty price tag, nice to see one up close :P

All that I am interested in is Scrapheap.

Second. Anybody want a rock-candy Hot Rod or a Kup? I'll even throw in the iGear head that isn't chomping on a stogy.

The significance is that you can only repaint a figure so many times before you have to use clear plastic to keep it interesting. Scrapheap is the only reason that this set is even remotely interesting.

I guess the real question is, who are any of us? Well, that's them - with abilities to sing, play musical instruments, and sell their talents commercially; that is...

On topic: Cyclonus is the sweetest of the six.

Really only want Scrapheap. The rest look fantastic though. I simply don't need them or have the extra room. As it is, the Classics case is outgrowing itself. I'm having to start a new display for the animated movie characters.

The only one worth buying is Scrap Heap. Im fine with regular generations Kup, and that Rodimus repaint-clear mold is almost useless seeing how it wasnt even in the movie. The Matrix let off beams of blue, Rodimus didnt change color. The ideas for the decepticon set is cool, but Im fine with the regular figures. I really wish Hasbro came out with Scrap Heap by himself though.

I can see there are a lot of takers for Scrap Heap, but not so much for Rodimus and Kup. O well, I'd gladly take "Matrix Glow" Rodimus
