And yeah, I'd definitely love to see some BW themed sets. The Axalon control room, the Darksyde control room, and maybe some outdoor scenes. Like an under water scene for Depth Change and Rampage with the Nemesis in the background or a jungle scene with a stasis pod in the background or the Ark exterior, but the underground/lava version.

Actually, I think it's fairly reasonable for the price. Consider that each of these backgrounds are a piece of art printed on a 10x26.5" heavy card stock. Now try and find an artist print at a convention or something at that size on heavy card for $25. You're not.

i was waiting for something like this to come along, but now im not sure if i need them. my TF's are kinda half ass'ed displayed around my house because theyre waiting for a room in my house to be rebuilt, so my actual "proper" display doesnt exist yet. but my plans are to have glass cases. mainly so light can reach through everywhere, cause whats the point of having a collection you cant see? and i think putting a bunch of backdrops in will darken things up or make it look to busy.
but theyre so nice... i may have to meditate on this...

when you get your toystage, will you post a review, and maybe some pictures,as i'm on the fence with it,
actually, looking through some of their other lines there are bits that could be substituteds
maybe the 3'3/4 base would work as a 'city,
or the generic town display.......

Optibotimus posted a review on some of these, although it looks as if he went the cheap route by purchasing a few of the smaller stages. The cube sizes don't do these stages justice with the splits down the middle in my opinion.lonrac wrote:Scotty,

If these came out in 2010 I would have bought almost all of the TF ones along with some of the generic backdrops. I've been using the iGear play set along with a custom Space Bridge, Smelting pool and Decepticon HQ made out of painted chain bases for props. I've also been using the chain bases along with some kit bashed household items and 28mm scale stuff to build an oil refinery and a 2 story power plant play set. For city scenes I've been using O scale trees and building fronts along with art boards painted to depict traffic lanes, snow, grass etc. I've been at this diorama thing for years!
Anyways, I got my order yesterday and I love the cartoony nature of these stages! I got a few Ark scenes, some floor panels for another Dececepticon HQ kit bash, and a big swamp set for my Insecticon army. The guys at Toystages are true fans. I will be placing another order very soon!

I'll be happy to post some pictures or shoot a short video once my replacement arrives. Fedex crumpled a corner of the box, stage backdrop got damaged on a crease, but these guys are absolutely phenomenal when dealing with problems, and I'll have a new one soon. Plus, they're going to research some ways to reinforce the box corners on the large size stages in the meantime, so that even if crumpled in the actual item won't be damaged. Hoping that this will help prevent this in the future for others so my replacement should be a guinea pig for what they come up with.
In other words, disappointed I got a damaged one in, but holy cow, the customer service experience I've just had with them is amazing. They've fully owned and made the problem right. I went from "give me my money back I'm never ordering again" to "Totally buying more in the future" overnight.

Looking forward to seeing more Sunbow inspired stuff in the future.
