The official Transformers: Age of Extinction Australia Facebook page have posted three new promotional images of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the upcoming movie. Optimus Prime is shown both wielding a sword and seemingly impersonating Darth Vader's NO scream, while Bumblebee shows off his new robot mode complete with arm cannon and shuriken looking wheels, as we've seen on an exclusive deluxe toy recently - meanwhile, Lockdown's ship looms in the background. Check them all out below!

Seemingly contradicting the Cybertron Monday press release from Hasbro, the official Michael Bay Facebook page has confirmed that a new thatrical trailer for Transformers Age of Extinction will debut on iTunes on Thursday 15th May. Only a couple of days left!

Whew! While I'm excited to see the trailer, I could do without having to do a screen capture gallery of it today with my full schedule. Mondays are always my crazy day between Seibertron.com stuff and Family schedules. Here's looking forward to seeing the new trailer on Thursday!

So we might not get a new Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer today (though we hear there is a possibility for a teaser to surface eventually), and will have to wait until this Thursday to see more. In the meantime, take a look at yet another variation of the Optimus Prime rides Grimlock theme, in a new poster courtesy of Den of Geek, complete with a brand new cheesy slogan: Stand Together or Face Extinction!

Did you create the Cybertronians? Who are you to say what they do and don't need? In the movie universe, they're natural beings. They aren't manufactured, they aren't built. They feel and need energy, much like humans, to survive. If they have to consume energy, energon, nuts, bolts or whatever it is Cybertronians eat, is it so far of a stretch that they should be able to taste it? All the characters in TF Animated had tongues. Human tongues, in fact. I didn't see anyone angry about that.

A new tv spot just aired on NBC showing almost all new footage. I was flipping through channels so I only caught some of it but it went so fast I could barely pay attention. All I remember is Mark screaming and firing that gun/sword weapon he is always seen with, a close up of Hound's face, a new shot of Grimlock running and breathing fire and what seemed like Optimus riding Grimlock through a city.

Thanks to an upload by YouTube user John McEwen we have the new TV spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction! The clip reuses a lot of material from the previous trailer, but we get a look at Hound, Cade firing the sword/gun weapon, and more Optimus Prime riding Grimlock into battle. Tongues are necessary for proper speech on a physical level. One cannot produce any lingual speech sounds without the tongue since the tongue is the key instrument for altering the sound of one's voice to produce said lingual sounds. Simple phonetics. :-B

I think this was the first spot in which we can see Drift....look close when grimlock is breathing fire...Drift is off to the left...Grimlock appears to be massive..makes you wonder who the heck these dinobots are gonna be fighting

I found a copy that's just a little clearer:

That last shot was pretty good, I'll admit. I can just see the continuation:

Optimus rides Grimlock toward Lockdown and his ship. Grimlock uses some crumbled buildings to climb higher, and right before he jumps, Optimus says "I'll take the captain, you take the ship!" And in mid-air Optimus jumps off Grimlock and tackles Lockdown on the ship, as Grimlock transforms in mid-air and proceeds to start tearing the ship apart with his hands. Or better yet, he stays in T-Rex mode and uses his claws, jaw, and fire breath.

Also, that shot with Lockdown's 'ship' is destroying the buildings, it's very much Unicron-like. I'm not saying it's him. Because if it was he'd be really small, but it does remind me of Unicron's planet mode.

Needless to say, my excitement level has gone up just a little. >:oP

And now, to combine the news of the new TV spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction reported on last night, and this morning's announcement regarding Imagine Dragons, check out a good quality, official video on the Seibertron.com YouTube Channel. The footage is exactly the same as the spot, in a slightly different order, showing off Hound, fire-breathing Grimlock, Cade's sword-gun, and Optimus Prime riding Grimlock through the city - with added clips from the band Imagine Dragons and their new single 'Battle Cry'. Primus help me but I may actually be entertaining the notion of catching this on the big screen. As much as I was opposed to a 4th film even being made, this actually has me intrigued. I'm still not liking a lot of the character designs (and re-designs) but I am starting to become curious as more info and more clips are released.
