Or you can order from BBTS they are getting theirs in the next 10 days

Except for the fact that my dad likes to stick with more well-known sites like Amazon because he's afraid of credit card fraud. In fact, I was going to get Devy and the the Optimus Maximus crew on Tfsource (and also Motormaster because he came in the same set as Battle Core Prime), but I found one incident where credit card numbers were stolen, and he said "Well, we're not using that site".
EDIT: Never mind. My dad approves of BBTS, so I'll get Devy, the Maximus crew, and the King of the Road from there.

They have their's up for $219.99.
http://tfsource.com/transformers-unite/devastator/
With free shipping this may be one of the better deals. I'm not sure if that is a US only offer or not.

On the other hand, BBTS doesn't do free shipping. (Which is why I moved my protectobots preorder to Hasbrotoyshop when the option popped up)

Firstly BOOOYAAAAA!!!!!!!!! Turns out Anime Export was the cheapest afterall. The reason (as Emerje once said) is that Amiami includes the Japanese tax. So the MSRP given is the MSRP (25000) plus tax. Hence why he costs more. The advantage is you dont pay until its out while I had to pay 146$US up front and wont get him till december.
Shipping estimates are anywhere between 40-60$, which I think is not that bad for international customers who dont have local retailers selling in their currency. In the end, everyone will be able to get this beast for 200$ US.
For americans, I still think BBTS is your best bet simply because the shipping isn't that much (right?) and you can still take advantage of their pile of loot. At most, Americans would save maybe 30$ by going the import route. You be the judge if that is worthwhile.

Lol since when is $30 bucks not worth saving? Plus with EMS you get it sooner then BBTS. The tricky thing here is that the YEN is making a huge come back against the dollar today and if that momentum continues it could get dicey.

I think TFSource has BBTS beat. 219.99 shipped last time checked. No stacking or piling required.william-james88 wrote:For americans, I still think BBTS is your best bet simply because the shipping isn't that much (right?) and you can still take advantage of their pile of loot. Makes sense guys. Sucks for BBTS though but at the same time, this may lead to them upping their game (either free shipping or lower prices). One thing that surprised me though, Mooncake, EMS is faster than domestic shipping? Or does it depend where you are in the states?
And lastly, while I was kind of sad that I had to pay now (2 days ago) for Takara's devy, the exchange rate pointed out makes it not a bad move afterall. That's something I had not thought about. Amiami makes you pay only when it's ready to ship and you cant cancel your order. That means your order is wholly dependent on fluctuating exchange rates and that's not always a good thing.
But one thing, is it that the american dollar is lower, or that the yen is stronger?

EMS takes around the same time as domestic shipping (USPS) for me about a week. The thing is HLJ, Amiami usually gets their stock on Friday and I would pay for it and get it by next weekend. BBTS would get it maybe a few days later? probably Monday or Tuesday if there are no delays and I would hit ship on my POL it'll spend time under paid then werehouse and probably wont actually ship out until wednesday earliest and won't make it here by the weekend. So ordering Takara from Japan is actually cheaper and faster for me... hopefully that will remind true.
Dollar is strong! Yen is just bouncing back right now. we will see.. I track these rates everyday. lol =X

I thought I might just stay loyal to BBTS, but $30 bucks is another 2 deluxes or a voyager.
We'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out as I pulled the trigger at amiami.

Yes I do. My recent haul was 50$ US to ship and it had UW 01 Superion and 4 TAV deluxes. It can be anywhere between 40-60$. But you are lucky, Emerje says you wont get it taxed. I will for sure, no way Canadian customs is ignoring a big ticket item like that.

I'd love to see MP Screamer at $70, I could use one of those in my life.

I'm sure they'll raise the price soon like they did on all the other Masterpieces. Esp if it's selling well (Prime, Soundwave, Grimlock)

To add to SDCC pre-orders. TFSource also has the SDCC Devastator up for preorder for $299.99:

and the Combiner Hunters for $139.99:

I noticed that the Hunters pre-orders are sold out on BBTS.
Wasn't SDCC Devastator announced to be priced at $180? I don't remember what the Hunters were said to be priced at. I did notice a small bit of text at the top of HTS that may be of some interest.
The texted is linked, but just to HTS home page.

Should be the same price as the previous seekers since it was confirmed on TRU canada computer to be 89.99$, same price as the previous ones.
