An auction on Taobao show’s us even more new images of the upcoming movie scout last seen here. It is currently unconfirmed what the name of the toy is, as this latest auction claims it to be Detour, contradicting the previous information of him being Dead End. Yeah, definitely a Wheelie repaint/slight remold
New head and hands, some orange paint, and there he is..
I'd buy the Wheelie, but not this guy.

thank you you just made my head hurt good question non the less maybe the first film was about autobots and they won the fight but the sequel could be about decepticons and the deceticons win the fight this time thats all i can think of.

Birdgirl is HOT!

Anyway, if this character is in the movie, he seems like he'd be a drone or the guy in the red shirt. He is red. :-?

I hate those hands. Looks like you can still put a weapon in it's hand, but would look odd with the fingers spread.

LOOKS GREAT ILL DEFINATLY BE GETTING THIS ONE !!! I JUST WISH THEY WOULD HAVE MADE IT THE SAME SIZE AS THE DELUXE CLASS CARS FROM THE FIRST MOVIE SO THEY WOULD LOOK GOOD ON DISPLAY SIDE BY SIDE. ALSO IT WOULD HAVE LOOKED BETTER WITHOUT THE DECEPTICON LOGO. IM SURE IF HE APPEARS IN ROTF HE WILL NOT HAVE THIS BEVAUSE IT LOOKS CARTOONISH.

Is this a p*ss take? It looks to babyish to be a movie TF. It would just look ridiculous on screen next to detailed realistic vehicles like Prime and military stuff like Blackout etc. Are we sure this isn't something from Animated? The spindly legs and arms and bulbous car mode look more 'animated' in style than ROTF. Is it only me thinking this?

I don't think it's curvy enough to be Animated [at least not in bot mode; alt mode maybe]. Those seem to have a definite 'gesture' to them. This one seems like a movie class but I agree, it seems like less care to proportions or just too kidish. I think all the scout classes are though. It's like the intermediary step between fast action battlers and deluxe. There are some badass scout figs but most of them seem to be of this quality, more disproportionate from a lot of other figs.

I would get this fig though, I just hope it's not in the movie. I want more low end or standard cars. More like BB's first alt mode in the first movie. Decepticons should be dirty like that; small and dirty or big and badass, or in the case of the Constructicons, big, dirty and badass =P

I could see this figure selling well as a scout that is not actually in the film but I can't see how they could seriously work a cartoon style alt mode like that onto the screen.

I see your point though, Armourhide, skyblast, signal flare etc are of this kind I suppose and I have got all of them!

Me too =P

In fact, if you only have 1 or 2 of that class size, they don't look as cool as when you have a bunch. I think that's just because for me, the proportions on the scout class less matter when they're all bunched together. Some fit well with other class sizes though [movie scout arcee for the movie deluxe cars for example]

but yea, don't really know how big these things are till I have one in my hand. It's nice that the movie line has it's own scout figs now.
