With the snow finally coming to a stop, the plow trucks in full force, and Pre-Registration for Dairycon 2011 in full swing, the Dairycon Staffers have decided to share a small teaser for the upcoming show!
While the mystery figure was originally hinted at during the 2010 show, they've updated the placeholder page for "Reinforcements For Dairycon" with new information!
PRETENDER CONVOY has called out for Heroes to aid the DAIRYCONS in their BATTLE FOR BREW CITY!! Now you can help! Clip and save your valuable MOO-POINTS from various Dairycon items. Bring them to the show, and get your own REINFORCEMENTS FROM DAIRYCON!
REINFORCEMENTS FROM DAIRYCON is an ongoing series of figures within the Dairycon Universe. Intertwined with each other and the mainline figures, REINFORCEMENTS FROM DAIRYCON promises to be the most exciting series yet! A different figure will be available each year for the next several years. Attend all six shows (2011 thru 2016) and assemble your very own ultimate REINFORCEMENTS FROM DAIRYCON collection!
-While no name was given, those lucky enough to have purchased the Dairycon: 10 Years Hardcover can find themselves some clues to his identity within its pages! For the rest of us, it's only a matter of time before the six 'placeholder' names are revealed. But, with the figure having a subtly Prime-esque countenance; could it be that we're seeing the nexus of all things Dairydom?
-And as always, keep an eye out for more information, and feel free to check out the Dairycon websitefor more information on all things Dairycon!

The Dairyland Trans Fans are up to their shenanigans again and have announced the date for Dairycon 2011. Titled "Changing Steers", the convention will once again return to beautiful Fond du Lac, WI and will take place April 15th and 16th. Pre-Registration for the convention will open December 4th and close March 1st, 2011.
Never shying away from innovation, it appears that another new event has been added to the schedule. In previous years, the "World Famous" Jumpstarter Races have been limited to a Jumpstarter Pool provided by the Dairycon Organizers. This year, they have added a new division for people to bring their own! So for the adventurous collector, there may be incentive to crack open a Topspin or Twin Twist and do some "modifications".
If you haven't attended a Dairycon before, or you are currently thinking about it, be sure to go this year. The event is tons of fun and the people are amazing to hang out with.

Just when it seemed like things were winding down, the cast and crew of Transformers: Dark of The Moon show up in New York City, at the United Nations building. Though don't take it from me, check out the story via the Inner City Press.
UNITED NATIONS, November 13 -- Transformers 3 is filming in the UN today. The middle section of the General Assembly hall was full of extras, in suits and native dress, while a camera on a mechanical arm panned the crowd and then the three faux speakers on the rostrum. From the photo booth on the GA's third floor, Inner City Press heard stage directions, saw the vote tally board lit up.

Shaun Yzquierdo, the brother of Ryan "Seibertron.com" Yzquierdo, works in the auto industry and was at last week's SEMA Show in Las Vegas. SEMA, which stands for Specialty Equipment Market Association, is an organization made up of auto manufacturers and aftermarket retailers that has a huge, annual trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada. At this year's show, Shaun came across Anzo USA, a manufacturer of aftermarket lighting accessories for cars and trucks, who was displaying Transformers branded tail lights and lighting accessories. Included in their product line is a set of replacement tail lights for the 2010 Chevrolet Camero that features a lighted, LED Autobot logo. Also overlooking things at the Anzo USA's booth-Bumblebee himself! No word on when these products are scheduled for release but if we learn more, we'll post an update.

We reported yesterday that Transformers voice actor Michael McConnohie will be appearing at BLIZZCON 2010 this weekend and will have an autograph signing this Saturday, October 23rd.
Apparently he won't be the only Transformers voice actor in attendance. Neil Kaplan, the voice of Optimus Prime in Transformers: R.I.D. will also be signing autographs along with Michael.
For more information on Neil, you may head over to his website, nekap.net

TRANSFORMERS VA Michael McConnohie (Gen 1 -Tracks, Cosmos. RID - Hotshot, Ironhide) will be appearing at BLIZZCON 2010 in Anaheim, CA for his work as "The Lich King" in World of Warcraft.
An autograph session is scheduled for Saturday, October 23:
Department of Defense wrote:Transformers 3 would like to have military extras for a big scene that's scheduled to be filmed in Washington, DC on the National Mall next week. The dates of the filming are from Tuesday, October 12, through Thursday, October 14. This is a night scene, so filming would be from 1830 to approximately 0630 the following morning. It's an important scene involving the U.S. military "NEST" team featured in the other Transformers pictures. It's always much better when actual military personnel portray military extras, rather than civilians.
The production company is seeking:
- 33 men between the ages of 23 and 35;
- Height between 5' 11" and 6" 2" (approximately);
Volunteers must report for NEST uniform fittings on Sunday afternoon, Oct 10, at the Washington Marriott Hotel, 1221 22nd St. NW Washington, DC 20037.
If they are driving, they must park in the public parking lot within a block of the hotel, not at the hotel itself, and proceed to Georgetown #2 Room (just off the lobby). They must be in uniform (ACU, ABU, whatever military attire they wear daily), and bring a pen & ID to fill out a $50 pay voucher (they will receive a check by mail).
Anyone who reports for a fitting will be hired as an extra. Extras must be prepared to work all three nights, though it's likely that the director will not need all 33 extras for the entire 3-day duration of the filming. For each day of filming, they will be paid $100 for the first 8 hours of work, and overtime for any additional hours, to a maximum of approximately $200 if the filming runs over 12 hours.
Interested servicemembers should phone the casting line ASAP, (310) 351-1909 to make an appointment for the fitting, and identify themselves as calling about DC military extras. They should be prepared to be asked about their ethnic identity. The production company wants as much ethnic diversity as possible, and the short-fused nature of the casting call precludes having an audition in person.

Indiana Transformers fans, gather round! An exciting, fun-filled event is about to descend on Chesterfield! That's right, folks, Slag-A-Con will be held this Saturday, October 9th, at the Mill Creek Civic Center, 17 Veterans Blvd, Chesterfield, Indiana. This awesome convention, by fans, for fans, includes a dealer room, voice acting classes, autograph sessions and many other fun events for the whole family! Not only that, but all the admission packages are $12 or less! Check out the Slag-A-Con website for more information on guests and events, as well as a full schedule!
Along with actor Michael Bell, artist Casey Coller, and colorist John-Paul Bove, Apocalypse Comics is sponsoring an appearance by "All Hail Megatron" writer Shane McCarthy!
Shane McCarthy (Mac) presently resides in Perth, Western Australia, officially one of the top ten most furtherest away from everywhere places on the planet.
He is currently employed as a freelance writer, working for the likes of DC and Marvel Comics, and is still in awe at the unyielding enjoyment levels brought about by his 1970’s Atari version of Pong. Amongst other things Shane has worked on BATMAN LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT, DETECTIVE COMICS, DARK X-MEN, STAR WARS and wrote the twelve issue maxi-series TRANSFORMERS: ALL HAIL MEGATRON.
When not delving into the topsy turvy world of comics, Shane can be found teaching and dancing the ‘Lindy Hop’ – a 1930s swing dance which involves big pants and throwing women around.

On today's web cast, Hasbro spoke a great deal of info on The Hub and Transformers: Prime. They told of details on Transformers in general, but the concentration centers largely around Transformers: Prime and the Hub. Click here for the page you can listen on, and to view Friday's press release, click here.
Bits of interests:
- The live-action movie and Generation 1 will both be airing on the Hub.
- Transformers Prime will air in the afternoon around 3:00PM.
- Not a US only type deal, shows will get aired internationally.
