Transformers ROTF DVD Blu-Ray release date October 24th?

Interesting.
It came out two weeks ago and now we have a Blu Ray release date?

summer movies always hit home video between september and december so this is very possible. and lately it seems many movies come out around 4 months later so this would fit.

whatever the date is, it'll be out before xmas so its all good.

i wonder what special features arew going to be on it besides the making of, and hopfulyl bay atleast tells us where the hell barricade went to

That's right everyone - Barricade is "Sideways"... we all know it.



But back to the news at hand: This is going to be a great release. From what I understand, the team behind almost all of Ridley Scott's films is working on the DVD/Blu-Ray release, which means EVERY special feature, as well as (hopefully) commentary by others besides Bay himself will be on these discs. This also means we might see less store-exclusive cases & content, which would do us well as the first film's releases got a bit crazy.

This doesn't suprise me. I believe the first Transformers came out July 2, 2007 and was releasd on DVD and HD-DVD on October 26th 2007. Crazy how that works these days. I remember when I was a kid and I'd see a movie in the theatre I really liked and it wouldn't be available for purchase for like a year! Eventually you could rent the movie, but it wouldn't be sold for like 6 months after that. Now they get the movies out as quick as possible.

Personally though they need to take their time with the DVD/Blu-ray release and fix the errors, hell maybe even reshoot some scenes. Why not? You'll make your money right back on sales! it won't happen though, just like the first one, they ain't fixin shit!

Ok I fess up I may have been unduly unfair on this movie, and everything deserves a second chance.
