The latest third party product to makes it's way into the thorough toy galleries of Seibertron.com is Mastermind Creations' KM-01 Knight Morpher Commander. More than just an amalgamated name, this figure pays homage to Guido Guidi's work on IDW's Transformers Evolutions: Hearts of Steel. This version of Optimus Prime is the response to the question, 'What if Transformers existed during the Industrial Revolution?' We've been bringing you the latest news on the Knight Morpher Commander and at last, here is an in-depth 193 image gallery of the figure.

I hope that Hasbro takes notes on stuff like this and gives us some of these comic book renditions in the Generations line. I would like to get some HOS guys.

Side questions: why is this figure listed on the iGear shop page? Did they manufacture it for Mastermind?

It's a nice figure, but I don't like the head mold, and I can't justify that much money for a toy robot that I don't want in robot mode.
I love that figures like this get produced, and I am happy for those who enjoy it, but it's a pass for me.
On a side note, that Matrix is FREAKIN AWESOME looking with the "swirl" Nicely done.

This toy really looks full of win. Good job Mastermind Creations! Nice to see another 3rd party company I think I can trust.

So I might just pick up this guy after all, I guess I'll see how my finances are after the Bruticus set comes out.

There is a thrad by 'dragons' I believe in the toy forum where he talks about his frustrations with the tight joints, as does another poster. Mine's still sitting in my POL.

He is fantastic. He does have some rather tight joints at first, but they get easier to work with after a couple transformations, and it's better they're tight than loose...

All in all, all these companies investing in non-knock-off TF related products are a real breath of fresh air, and I sure hope they will be continuing to do so for years to come. For now, I can't wait for the Munitioner and the Explorer!
