Who's gonna be the torso, Sea Clamp or Cicadacon? And from which mold?

Both would make sense in a way. Sea Clamp was the biggest of the three in the original toy, but he formed the pants instead. And his show model was the smaller of the two.

Cicadacon would also work since he was the torso of the original toy and his show model was the beefiest of the three. But, the Air Raid mold would work so much better for him than any of the torso molds, and Skydive's head is a close enough match to his show model's head that he wouldn't need a new head. And his original toy was the smallest of the three as well.

But looking at all of the available CW Voyagers there are to choose from (Optimus, Silverbolt, Motormaster, Cyclonus, Hot Spot, Onslaught, an Scattershot---Sky Lynx isn't likely to be available for Fun Pub just yet), none of them really work that well. The only one that might possibly, slightly work is Cyclonus for Cicadacon, but just barely, and not nearly as well as the Air Raid mold would work for him.

And if Cicadacon does end up being the torso, which Deluxe would work for Sea Clamp? The Rook mold would have worked well with its ability to give him Hulk Hands as a homage to his claws, but that mold's already reserved for Tarantulas. Maybe the Drag Strip mold could use the Mirage head for him, but I don't know.

Man, this is tough.

In all honesty its going to be based off the tripedacus council most likely because so far all of them revealed have been menbers of the counciland the figure revealed isn't the combiners (forms the arms) character

Haha, yeah. Curious though, would you preffer this over a straight up rerelease of the original?

If they did do a new CW/UW version of Liokaiser, the design would be a step backwards, as the original only needed the head as an extra, not the fists or feet. Make mine a reissue, please!

No offense but in all honesty they wouldn't do that plus of liokaiser was aa deluxe 6-bot combiner the torso (formers) would have to be new molds plus liokaiser doesn't beed a head that has to be placed on combined mode Plus the hands and feet wouldn't be built in, in all honesty

I still want that beast wars combiner character to get a new mold at somepoint plus have his maximal repaint counterpart and In all honesty i wish Hasbro/Takara would realize if they made the japan g1 only combiners a LOT of people would just give them their money but no....

Yeah sure we can get back on topic btw your a pretty great guy also heads up CW demolisher was just a fun made up head mock-up (thank primus it was that! Because the mold didn't suit demolisher at ALL as his armada body) of using a head just liek the BW megatron on the foc grimlock mold It was confirmed at a report asked by some people Alos theres an article of it on TFW2005 (I consider both sites like bros XD)

No. What you want in terms of figures is irrelevant. There is no place for discussion on a forum devoted to and designed for discussion.

Lol I'm kidding. Liokaiser would have been better by a mile than this thing, and I'd also rather have an updated Tripredicus....an updated version of the original, three member figure, before I am told that I'm somehow wrong....than some Frankenstein thing like this is clearly going to be. I'd have preferred, somehow, an updated Tripedicus and like two other figures rather than another WTF-tier combiner just because the Club can make combiners. And I certainly don't believe that the Club will be able to produce a decent piece of fiction to wrap this in that will change my mind.

Speaking of Frankenstein, that'd be a better name for the last club combiner tragedy...

I'd reserve final comments for when combiner mode is revealed. I too would of preferred a series of new moulds for him and magnaboss but facts are as facts are this is the best we are going to get.

The club are just doing the best with what they can.

Now when do people think we'll get a glimpse of the fourth limb?

I dont know, this all seems awfully early (great news though!). We had our final reveal April 2015 justa few months ago. I would be pleasantly surprised if we get the rest of the reveals this year too.

Hopefully the final reveal this go around is the last souvenir set. I'd like to see the club get rid of all of their surprises except the attendee freebie.

Yeah, but I thought this years were a little late with the reveals, but since the molds are so old, and they have the specs for them already - for tfcc - they were probably able to get a jump on them. Anybody think we'll get a magnaboss as the add-on sets ;)

They were the G1 characters, so:

1) A brown and white Silverbolt

2) A yellow and brown Prowl

3) A grey and red Ironhide

4) 2 others to compliment them (maybe bird-of-prey inspired fliers, or something) :-?
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

So who's taking bets Cicadacon is next? In the episode they were introduced, Ram horn turned on his red table light first, then Cicadacon, then Sea Clamp.

The two others could be Grimlock and Ultra Magnus/Mammoth, as those two along with the other three are the five Autobots who got turned into Maximals in the BWSG storyline, and then back to Autobots in the current "Another Light" storyline (though, Grimlock and Ultra Mammoth chose to keep their beast forms while Prowl/Ironhide/Silverbolt got new non-beast forms). "Another Light' could potentially lead into next year's BotCon story, with the five getting another another upgrade into some CW mold bodies (maybe with the CW Optimus finally getting some kind of Ultra Magnus deco that some seem so anxious to see it get in spite of both the Leader UM and the Battle Core OP figures).

Or, another candidate could be a version of Fort Max, who is said to have been the founder of the Maximals.

I would hope we would neveer get a magnus redeco from the cw optimus prime mold because we got literally a leader class Ultra magnus in the line plus was i the only one hoping this years boxset would be a Beast wars shattered glass themed?

I think either 2 Voyagers and 3 deluxes, 4 Deluxes and one Voyager, or four Deluxes, one Voyager, and something else like Scorponok and Oilmaster.

As a matter of fact, yes.

There are usually at least four different attendee packages one can register for BotCon: The Primus Package (the main attendee one), the Mini-Con Package (the Primus Package guest one), the Protoform Package (the bare-bones attendee one), and the Iacon Package (the non-attendee one). Of these four, the Iacon Package is the one for those who are not going to be attending BotCon in person, and gets you all the stuff that comes with a standard Primus Package. Meaning, you would get the main box set of figures, an exclusive pin, a convention program that includes the BotCon comic, and a Certificate of Authenticity (for purposes of formality).

However, as you would not be attending, you would have to seek other means to acquire the other convention figures not included in the main box set, such as the souvenir figure packs (there are usually three different packs), the attendee freebie figure, or the customization class figure (which attending members can either take the class to assemble, or purchase an unpainted pre-assembled version via registration).

Usually, Fun Pub would put any leftovers of these that haven't sold out onto the Club Store for people to purchase after BotCon is over, but sometimes certain items sell out at the convention with no extras left to sell online. In this case, you'd have to resort to places like eBay to find any being sold by second-hand sellers.

There are a few other details to go along with what Sabrblade posted:

To aquire the set on the botcon site, after the facts, you must be a member, which means paying a 50$ US fee (or about that) to be able to purchase the set and any other leftover items they have.

Other point: you can also purchase these sets directly from BBTS or TFSource. However, expect a 30% mark up.

So, its not at all impossible to buy all these botcon sets, you just need money.

I think either 2 Voyagers and 3 deluxes, 4 Deluxes and one Voyager, or four Deluxes, one Voyager, and something else like Scorponok and Oilmaster.

There isn't really a normal trend when it comes to figure size distribution, it really varies based on what's available and what can actually fit. Here's a rundown of what we've had so far:

2005: 4 Scouts, 1 Deluxe, 1 Ultra
2006: 2 Scouts, 2 Deluxes, 1 Voyager
2007: 4 Deluxes, 1 Voyager
2008: 1 Mini-Con, 3 Deluxes, 2 Voyagers
2009: 3 Deluxes, 1 Voyager, 1 Ultra
2010: 3 Deluxes, 1 Voyager, 1 Ultra

2011: 4 Deluxes, 1 Voyager
2012: 5 Deluxes, 1 Voyager
2013: 3 Deluxes, 2 Voyagers
2014: 3 Deluxes, 1 Voyager, 1 Ultra
2015: 3 Arms Microns, 1 Legend, 2 Deluxes, 2 Voyagers

2016: 4 Deluxes, 1 Voyager (pending)

The Souvenir Sets are a bit easier to guess: 2 or 3 figures per set and a max of one larger figure (Voyager or Ultra) among Deluxes or smaller.
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

Well, this set will probably also have a Legend in there to go with the other five Combiner components, so it'll technically be six figures in the box?

There's been plenty of variation in BotCon box sets, but the amount of plastic is usually pretty consistent, at least for the past four years.
