One good thing about Jetfire is he's not a crotch master combiner. Can't believe we lost beachcomber to these two. I hope there beter in the show!

I learned along time ago don't whine about not having something because you just might end up with something like this or the energon combiners. The individual robot modes aren't bad it is when you combine them either in plane mode if you can call it that or robot mode that something goes horrible wrong, also I have to agree with everyone that has said that it looks like person who transformed made a mistake somewhere during that process.

I will chuckle gleefully to myself when more pics of these figs come out showing them properly transformed and in super awesome poses that make them look uber sexy, and 90% of the nay-sayers will hop right back on board into buying them.

After doing some painstaking study of the boxart available at entertainmentearth, I'm 125% convinced that these are better lookin than the pictures suggest. Images of proper transformation in ALL provided modes will change a lot of minds really quick.

My plans for the Dreadwing Powermasters are back on track

I see that sum board members are defending Hasbro saying that it take time and creative thinking to come up with combiners but all i have 2 said after making Rail Racer, RID Prime and Magnus, Energron and countless more combiners..... that stuff like this shouldnt even left the drawing board.

The Jet Brother make the Energron Dinobots look like RID Landfill 2 me.

Right now tho, I'm pretty sure I'm right, haha :p Seriously tho, I really don't think ANY [current] Hasbro toy designer is dense enough to create something that looks like a rejected starship from Battlestar Galactica, refuses to give it wings, has OBVIOUS legs sticking out of the back, and then calls it a jet?! No, I have far too much [probably displaced] faith in humanity to believe such dribble.

Take a min to look at the character model on the box, as well as the background image/boxart behind the figures....wings, WINGS I say!!!

Anyways, right or wrong, we shall confer again when new photos surface, good sir?

The combined robot mode looks pretty good, but the killer for me is none of the robot modes have hands. Sorry, if a robot can't pick things up it's not very useful in my opinion.

If they turn out to be mistransformed and they actually have hands in all 3 robot modes then I will definitely get them. Otherwise no.

This reminds me a episode of Dexter's Laboratory, when Dexter's robot combines whit Mandark robot and becomes a ugly and stupid robot half of eatch. I believe that Hasbro lost the knowledge of doing combiners because this is ridiculus, they think that we buy every crap that they make. When i saw the news of a 2 robot combiner i tought that they where crazy them i remember of Omega Prime of RID Transformers and i began hoping for a great robot, them after seing this all falls apart. Pre-order canceled.

Everyone keeps mentioning maybe it's a bad pic, or a mistransformation, which Hasbro are famous for both. But that's got me thinking.

What kind of company spends tens of thousands of dollars developing a figure, making molds, test runs, all that crap, all that money spent...then lets someone crap photographer take a crappy pic of the toy mistransformed.

I mean, honestly if you spent ALL THAT MONEY per toy, wouldn't you at least spend a teeny bit more money and have someone be there who can actually transform the thing and knows how it should look? I mean seriously how many times have we seen a mistransformed transformer on a Hasbro box or used as an advertising picture?

As a business owner I just can't understand investing that much money in a product and then letting said product be misrepresented in my sales catalogs.

I just don't get it, it's not like it's a rare thing, it happens all the time.

Is it really that hard and expensive to get someone who knows what they're doing to take a good picture of the toys?

How hard would it be to send the toy along with some design team art to the photographer, have the photographer look at the art and basically say, "if you can't take a pic of the toy looking proper, then we won't be using you as our photographer anymore."

I was really lookin forward to these like everyone else, after hearin wot they could do they sounded like 2 very cool customers.

but now......I wouldn't even pick these up in stores to get a closer look. They are a complete let down and and an insult to the rest of the gr8 line.

Not exactly, but at this point if one of them could turn into water it would be an improvement.

I'm going to assume there's something amiss in the pics with the transformations (no hands, no wings, "planes" that are just robots lying down...) just to try to keep my faith in this line, because, up until this, I've been pretty impressed all around with the toys I've been getting.

But if this is legit..... :sad:

These wouldn't be be so bad if:
A. They had Hands (both individually & combined).
B. They had a different color scheme.

The big one for me is the "no hands." I can look over the color scheme, but they really do need hands.

The size of this thread and the number of complaints, less than 24 hours after these pic were revealed, really says something about just HOW awful these are. In the year or so I've been posting here, I've never seen such a strong reaction to a new mold. I wonder if Hasbro pays attention to what fans say in forums like this.
