I don't speak spanish, so i'm just going to take that as an attempt to patronise me after I offered some helpful (and as I said, a long standing thing we do around here) advice.

As far as estimating time remaining, you don't need to estimate it. Look at the countdown time, subtract 20 mins, that's the remaining time until it closes. Minus a few mins depending on how long it takes a person to post.

Frankly, I remember a time when questioning the staff (which includes the mods) was severly frowned upon...

That time is still now. It's in the offical rules. Questioning the Mods about their actions, statements, or rulings is against the rules. I believe it's even ban worthy to a point. But the current Staff (HMW at least) aren't a bunch of easily butthurt crybabies, so it's a moot point.

That was made prior to OS announcing anything, and I was under the impression that nothing would be happening with me until some time in the next year when the new game started to come together more often and my role became more involved.

It's no secret you and I don't like each other Red, in fact i'm amazed you've yet been banned as i've seen others banned for less. So i'm not suprised you've decided to single out something i've said and use it to attack my "promotion".

Thing is, Psychout was calling me a Troll as a Mod, did I say anything about his position? No. I had a few words in public with him, then we discussed it in private. Perhaps you should try doing the same?

It's a stupid rule to begin with. Simply because someone is on the staff doesn't make them infallible. My point stands. Burn answered Red. I honestly don't think that disagreeing with anyone on anything (whether it be a statement or an action) should be against the rules, so long as it's not a clear cut attack.

It's really not an issue these days, but I know a few years back you really couldn't disagree with a staff member.

The basic unwritten rule then was "they're right, you're wrong, shut up about it or be banned".

Trust me, that attitude has changed over the years.

Respect is after all, earnt, not given because of a title.

It was a nice dream, but political correctness and the need to wrap children in cotton wool so they don't get hurt has seen certain liberties taken away.

Frankly to me it just comes down to tolerance and leniency.

You agreed to the terms and conditions of Seibertron.com when you reigstered, which included a clause where you agreed to be bound by the censorship rules of the site. So, there's not a full freedom of speech here, but only because everyone here agreed to let it be so.
